Wisdom Teeth

Lena groaned in protest, not wanting to wake up. The alarm clock next to her showed it was 6:00 A.M. She normally refused to wake up before seven on a weekend, but she had to get her wisdom teeth removed. 

"Lena, are you up?" She heard Kara ask from the living room. Lena had asked her best friend to stay with her for the day, as she can't be alone after the surgery. "Yeah, I just have to get ready." she called back, grabbing her outfit for the day. Lena quickly got dressed, wearing comfier clothes than she usually would. The doctor had told her to wear a T-shirt, so she was wearing one that she had stolen from Kara during one of their other sleepovers along with sweatpants. 

Once Lena had finished getting dressed, she walked out to the car with Kara. "Are you ready for this?" Kara asks, getting in the drivers seat. "Yeah, I'm ready" Lena responds almost immediately, not wanting to seem nervous in front of Kara. They arrive at the building soon after, heading up to the office. 

The nurse explained what would happen the surgery, and what all Kara would need to help Lena with throughout the rest of the day. They walked Lena back to the operating room, putting a breathing tube in her nose before giving her an IV, putting her to sleep. 

Kara was sitting out in the waiting room when she saw the nurse wheeling Lena out. She didn't have her usual perfect posture, instead she was leaning back against the seat. "Woah" Lena said, noticing Kara. "Did I die?" She asked the nurse; it was barely understandable because of the gauze in her mouth. "No, you didn't die." "But there's an angel right there." Lena says, a half smirk on her face. Kara blushes, leaving to pull the car up to the front door. 

Lena continued to flirt with Kara on the way home, using cheesy pick-up lines the whole time. Lines like; "If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put U and I together.", "If you're here, who's running heaven?", and (Kara's personal favorite) " If you were a vegetable, you'd be a cute-cumber." After the first one, Kara set up her phone and pressed record, wanting to show the video to Lena later when she woke up. 

Chapter inspired by me getting my wisdom teeth removed. I felt like high Lena would be a lot like drunk Lena, finally able to admit her love for Kara. Send me any requests/prompts!
