Movie Night

Kara and Lena were sat right next to each other on a small loveseat, cuddled up as close as possible with a fluffy blanket over both of them. Lena had been insistent of the fact that Kara was enough of a personal space heater, but Kara reminded her that the blanket was more for added comfort than warmth.

"Everyone ready now?" Barry questions from his just as close spot next to Iris as Cisco walks in holding a few massive bowls of popcorn. He hands one to Iris and Barry, one to Kara and Lena, and keeps one for himself. He plops roughly down onto the smaller armchair beside the two couches.

"Yup. Everyone knows that movie night popcorn is a requirement." The man states, Kara quickly nods along with his comment as she offers Lena the first bite of popcorn. Lena smiles in return, enamored by the fact that Kara was willing to share her precious food with her, but denies the offer. 

"Let's get movie night started then!" Barry cheers, sharing the popcorn with Iris as he presses play. The group had watched the previous Jurassic Park movies together already and were about to start Jurassic world as their first movie of this marathon. 

Everything is perfectly normal until a certain character starts her first scene.

"Lena, I didn't know you were an actor." Iris says, sounding confused. Lena looks confused as well, the character, apparently named Zara, looked eerily similar to herself. She looks to her left for Kara's reaction and finds the woman with her eyes wide and mouth agape. Lena rolls her eyes at the blatant show of attraction and wraps an arm around Kara, quickly reminding the hero that the real, let's face it, better, thing was sitting right next to her.

Kara still continues to stare at Zara every time she appears on screen. Lena isn't entirely sure if she should be jealous or honored that her girlfriend was so clearly attracted to the woman who looked just like her. Once one of the velociraptors swoops down and picks the woman up, Lena smirks a bit, shows her right for stealing all her girlfriend's attention. The smirk turns to horror when the woman is basically tortured right in front of them, being dropped and pulled back out of the water repeatedly before finally being swallowed. The CEO hears sniffling next to her and turns to see Kara bawling her big blue eyes out.

"It's alright darling, it's just a movie." She coos softly as the blonde gently wraps her muscular arms around her much smaller frame before tucking her head into her neck. Lena smiles, running her hands through blonde hair and gently scratching her scalp as she tries to calm down. 

"Cuddle?" The hero requests quietly as the movie continues to play in the background. She movies to lay her head in Lenas lap before she can even respond, already knowing her girlfriend would say yes. The raven-haired woman starts to run her hand through Kara's hair again, knowing she liked it.

They watch the rest of the movie like that, and the next, and the next, before eventually falling asleep like that as well. They somehow manage to cuddle even closer together throughout the night, holding each other as close as possible, each of them somehow managed to sense that the other needed comfort that night.

Kara, for the fact that she watched a character, who looks exactly like her girlfriend, die. 

Lena, for the fact that she felt jealous of her girlfriends constant ogling of said character. 

Though Lena felt just a bit better at the fact that Zara is- was- a fictional character. Lena was the one who gets to be with Kara every day, not her. She was the one who Kara would come to for comfort. She has no true reason to even be jealous of the woman who was practically her twin.
