"Kara."

The blonde feels a light pushing on her arm and groans before burrowing her face into her pillow.

"Kara!"

The pushing turns into her arm being shaken, and Kara hears a grunt.

"Why do you have to be so muscly and hard to move?" Nia complains before switching up her tactic. "Your class starts in fifteen minutes."

The Kryptonian bolts up in her bed, startling Nia a bit. "Shoot, why didn't you tell me?"

Her roommate narrows her eyes and goes back to her desk, Kara assumes she has been doing homework with all the books and highlighters she has out. "I've been telling you, you just don't listen." She sasses, taking a seat.

"I'm sorry! In my defense, I was asleep." Kara points out as she quickly grabs her backpack and slips on her shoes, she has no time to get changed out of her sweats. "Thanks for waking me up, see you later!" She says her quick goodbye before running out the door.

Kara runs as quickly as she can without seeming non-human, thanking Rao that the English building is so close to the dorms. She's looking down at her watch for the time when she feels herself collide with something.

"Dammit! This is just the cherry on top of an already perfect day." The woman growls, clearly angry. "Do you just not pay attention to where you're going?"

Woah, Kara thinks to herself as she stares at the raven-haired woman in front of her, not hearing a word she's saying. If I could run into her, accidentally, every time I'm running late, I'd do it way more often.

"Are you mute or something? You could at least apologize."

It's then that Kara notices the coffee staining the younger woman's outfit and books on the floor. Just as she's about to rush out a quick apology, Kara sees she has five minutes left until class, and her lecture hall is on the third floor.

The blonde quickly scurries over to the English building and up the stairs, leaving the beautiful stranger behind to her mumbled ranting about how 'common folk don't understand basic manners'. Kara is still a little late to her journalism class, but it's worth it.

As soon as her first class is over, Kara makes her way to the campus dining hall in hopes of getting some coffee and a light breakfast when she notices the stranger again. She's changed out of her clothes and sitting in a booth with her laptop, a pair of earbuds in, and Kara gets an idea.

She enters the dining hall once again a few moments later holding a bowl as she walks over to her booth. The younger woman isn't paying much attention until Kara sets the bowl down before speeding off.

One of Krypton's common customs is to offer a box of fire crystals to the person you want to court. The crystals here on Earth aren't the same as the ones available on Krypton, and Kara wasn't able to get access to Earth crystals on such a short notice, so she's hoping the bowl of rocks will send the same message.

The woman stares at the bowl of rocks in confusion. She must admit, they're pretty rocks, but why?

Kara watches sadly as the stranger simply shakes her head before going back to her laptop. She orders her coffee and food before going to sit at a table where she could watch the woman in hopes she would acknowledge her offer.

"Hey, you! Did you leave these at my table?" She hears after a few minutes.

Kara looks up from her yogurt parfait to see the woman storming over carrying the wooden bowl. She sets her laptop aside, knowing she could finish that paper later, and nods.
