For the past few weeks, Lena has been seeing a particular woman in her dreams. She knows that this woman has dark hair, and has also seen her use magic on a few occasions. Lena has this feeling in her chest that the mysterious woman is trying to communicate with her, but, for some reason, she's struggling to do so.
Tonight, once Lena finally falls asleep, she has a plan. She'll walk up to the woman and try to speak with her, maybe even see her face if she can get close enough.
Lena enters the dream and sees the woman standing far away and facing the other direction just as she always has before. She slowly walks closer.
"Hello." She tries.
The woman sharply turns around, and the CEO is surprised to find someone who looks eerily similar to herself. "Ah, thank the gods, I've finally reached you!"
Lena raises an eyebrow, "You have. Clearly, you know who I am, may I ask who you are?"
The fellow raven-haired woman bows her head slightly in acknowledgment. "Of course, my name is Morgana Pendragon. I am your ancestor, Lena." She shares before correcting herself. "One of them, I should say."
Her eyes widen as she stares at Morgana. She had heard the tales of Merlin from her mother when she was little, but always thought they were just fairytales. "You... you said you've been trying to reach me. Why?" Lena asks.
A little smirk appears on Morgana's face. "You have found the person you are destined to be with, yet you have not acknowledged your feelings for her. I have been watching over you for all your life, waiting for the moment you would, but I've been severely disappointed."
One more family member to add to that list I suppose, Lena thinks to herself. "I have no idea what you're talking about." She lies.
The woman's eyes visibly redden, and Lena quickly considers that maybe it's a good thing her stare isn't quite that intense. "Yes, you do." Morgana retorts.
"I... no, there's no way," Lena speaks with a shake of her head. Kara's her best friend.
Morgana rolls her eyes, placing her hands on Lena's shoulders. "When you wake up, you will call her and tell her of your feelings." The witch practically commands. "I never did so in my lifetime, and I severely regret doing so." She admits sadly.
The CEO's eyes soften. "You had someone else you loved?"
Her head nods. "Someone from before I was married to a man, my servant. I can't allow you to go through that same pain of regret."
Lena takes a moment to think before her eyes widen in realization. "You loved Queen Guinevere." She speaks.
Morgana nods once again. "Please, don't allow yourself to follow the same path I did. You love Kara Danvers, and you need to tell her." The woman tells her before slowly fading away as Lena starts to wake up.
The woman shoots up, looking around to find herself back in her bedroom, the alarm clock blaring next to her. Lena thinks about what Morgana had said to her as she goes through the workday. Of course, she knows of her feelings for the quirky blonde, she has just never acknowledged them. Neither to herself nor to Kara.
She knows that that fact needs to change.
"Hey Lena, what's up?" She brightly answers the phone.
"Kara, I was wondering if you'd like to come over for a movie night tonight? I think there's something the two of us should talk about." Lena responds, hearing the clicking of a keyboard in the background.
Kara hums in consideration, and Lena knows her friend is finishing up a sentence. "Of course, that sounds great! Is everything ok?"
The youngest Luthor nods before realizing Kara can't see her. "Yeah, everything's fine. I just wanted to discuss a thought I had." Lena isn't sure why she's talking as if they're planning a business meeting, but she is.
"Ok, I'll see you at your place at six?" The blonde offers and Lena quickly accepts.

They had just finished eating dinner, Noonan's of course, and are just finishing with the cleaning up, which mainly consists of throwing away boxes.
Kara throws away the last one before motioning for them to sit down. "So, what'd you want to talk about?"
Lena sighs lightly as she sits next to her friend on the couch, of course, she remembers. "Yes, there's something I've been meaning to talk about with you for a while." She reveals.
"Ok... what is it?" The blonde asks, sounding concerned.
The younger woman picks at the fabrics of a throw pillow to distract herself a bit. "Kara, I'm going to be completely honest, I have no idea how to say any of this discretely, so I'm just going to go for it." She starts. "I've had feelings for you for a while now, and I don't want to- no, I can't ignore them any longer."
Kara's eyes widen a bit. "You have." She says simply, clearly surprised.
Lena nods, trying to gauge her friend's response. "I have." She confirms softly, her words can barely be considered a whisper.
The hero's face is blank for a moment as she processes the information. After a second, she gently cups Lena's face and turns it to face her. "I've had feelings for you too, Lena."
The raven-haired woman's eyes widen now. "You have."
A grin appears on Kara's face, realizing their conversation just went in a circle. "I have." She confirms with a small laugh before pulling Lena's face a bit closer.
Once the CEO realizes what's happening, she leans in even closer. A hand cups Kara's cheek as she gives her a kiss.
