I got his body proportions wrong, unfortunately. He's supposed to be wider to match the body type I headcanon him with, but I messed up. I'd love to redo this reference in the future, but I hope this is a decent ref that you guys can have before the next chapter update :'D
So here's Time Steve!
I don't have much to say about his design. I feel like I stayed pretty close to his Minecraft skin's design, with the biggest creative liberties being what he looks like without the clock, and the clock mask itself.
I don't remember the exact reason why I drew the clock mask like that. I think it's because I really wanted Time's mask to look more like a face so his mask could emote, and I thought an owl/bird face would be an interesting way to give the clock more emotive characteristics.
Fun fact, when I first got into the Steve Saga fandom, Time Steve was actually one of the first Steves I have ever drawn or thought about a design for! I thought about Time's design during the Elemental Steve arc, so this was before Memory, Galaxy, and Void showed up in the series.
I tweaked his design over the years, but most of the design has remained the same from when I first drew him.
And when the entire Galaxy Fam was introduced, I was inspired to draw them all, and I knew I wanted them to look related. And since Time was the only one I had a clear design for at the time, I used him as a "base" to figure out the rest of the Galaxy Fam's designs.
So Time Steve's design being the first thing I drew in the Steve Saga fandom is the reason behind some design choices I made for Memory, Illusion/Reality, and the other Galaxy Fam members :D
