I posted art of Illusion being sad and suffering on his birthday. So naturally, I had to parallel that and post art of Memory being sad and suffering on his birthday too. Yup, it's October 7, Memory's birthday! I'm going to celebrate by posting Chapter 42 tonight, but unfortunately Chapter 42 is the complete opposite of happy (seriously, it's a rough chapter about depression. Please heed the content warnings and use discretion.)
Anyways, happy birthday, Memory, my sweet dapper child. I am so sorry for all the things I put you through in this AU, but you are my absolute favorite Steve. The Steve Saga fandom jokes about forgetting you all the time, but you are memorable to me, because it was so fun and challenging to take the little canon we had about you and open it into a story I have a blast exploring. I hope you receive many hugs and cookies for your birthday, and may you hang out with Illusion again soon.
