Fawn's pov -

Freddie seemed to be keeping his distance ever since I had my nightmare. If I'm honest, I hardly remember what happened, I really only know that I woke up in Hermione's bed and Fred was in mine.

The Christmas holidays ended quickly, classes seemed to be getting more and more stressful, leaving Hermione and I in the library for hours on end.

Harry was insanely stressing about the second task, told us that he was no where near finding out the clue.

"Fawn...?"

"Yes Harry?"

"Do you think you'd be able to ta-"

"Talk to Cedric? Already planning on doing it tomorrow morning."

Harry seemed like an enormous weight had been lifted off his shoulders when I told him I'd talk to Ced.

I had spent most of that morning looking around the school for Cedric and I let out a sigh of relief when I finally found him.

"Cedric!" I yelled as I made my way into the quad.

"H- hey Fawn." He shot up from where he was lying down.

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" I pleaded.

"Y- yeah sure." He replied while getting up from his group of friends.

I heard his friend laughing as I led him towards a tree in the quad.

"who's this pretty Gryffindor?" I heard one say

"Hey doll"

"Ced, don't be too long with your pretty girlfriend."

I turned around to face them and pulled my middle finger at the group, they all gasped, thinking that a Gryffindor would never do something like that.

Cedric just managed a laugh as he saw my actions.

"So what's up?" He asked looking a little worried.

"Oh, no nothing you need to worry about. I- I was just wondering if you had found the clue yet?" I asked him shyly.

"Yeah." He chuckled "Does Potter need help?" He finished with a smirk.

"Lets just say he's getting a little desperate. The second task is only days away Ced."

"Alright. I'll have a chat with him next time I see him." He said with a warm smile.

"Okay, but can you make sure you tell him today? He's really stressing about it." I replied with worry and anxiety riddled throughout my face.

He just nodded as we headed back to his friends.

I heard laughs coming from the tree we had just walked away from, I turned and to my surprise, the blonde boy jumped from his position he held. I realised he was talking to someone, looking around, I noticed that someone to be Harry.

"I don't give a damn about what your father thinks Malfoy!" I heard Harry shout as I moved closer towards him.

"He's vial and cruel, and you're just pathetic." Harry started to walk away though I stayed where I was, merely a step or two away from the both of them.

I watched as Malfoy muttered something under his breath as he started to pull his want out, anger completely taking over his face.

I almost jumped over to him, placing my hands on his chest "Don't Malfoy. That won't do anyone any good." I told him.

He paused, his face only inches from mine. He looked me up and down with his silver eyes and a smirk grew into his cheeks.

I instantly took my hands away from him and started to back away.
