Fawns Heart

{Eleven}

"Oh for Merlins sake! Get up!" A voice said, making me jump in my bed.

My eyes shot open and met the gaze of two ginger headed boys staring down at me and Hermione.

"Woah. What'd you two get up to last night?" George said with a smirk.

I sat up and threw my pillow directly at his freckled face, Fred joined me in laughing at his brother who was now lying on the floor groaning dramatically. I lay back down, resting my head on Hermione's shoulder and she wrapped me in her warm embrace.

"Okay, but seriously..." George began.

"Honestly, can't two best friends sleep in the same bed and hug?!" Hermione almost yelled.

All I could do was smile and giggle at her comment, leading Fred to give me an almost evil smirk. 

"Christmas morning you two, lets go." Fred sad as he grabbed my wrist, dragging me out of Hermione's hug. 

"Can I at least put on some pyjama pants?!" I whined looking up to him.

He looked up and around as if in thought, "No." He said as he continued to drag me down the stairs with Hermione and George following. 

The morning went by relatively quickly, we all sat in the common room opening gifts from one another. I swear, everyone, including me, got either a scarf or a sweater from none other than Mrs Weasley herself. Mine was a rather oversized sweater which I loved, it was an emerald green with a large silver "F" on the front, almost matching Fred's appart from the different colours.

Hermione got me a book that I had been wanting, Ron and Harry gave me an insane amount of sweets, I knew I wouldn't eat them all, and George got me a lovely silver necklace with a cross attached to it. Fred turned to me holding a rectangular box and placing it in my hands, I slowly opened it to reveal two rings, one silver and one black. The black one was lovely and encased a gorgeous emerald green ball and I noticed that the silver one was a small but thick chain. I smiled, looking up at him and he chuckled. I placed my arms behind his neck and pulled him in for a long, tight embrace.

Everyone enjoyed the gifts that I had got them. I bought Hermione some new stationary, Ron some sweet cakes and pastries for Harry. I got George a chunky silver ring which matched his other one and I gave Fred a chain bracelet with three charms that dangled from it. One was an "F" another was a small fawn and the last was a little heart. Without hesitating, he asked quickly for me to put it on for him. I giggled as I placed the bracelet on his warm skin. 

"I didn't know you guys were like a proper thing." Ron said looking at the both of us.

"well..." I trailed off "We- we aren't really." I said looking into Freddie's eyes.

We both saddened quickly at my comment and I dropped my head down, staring at the new rings that were now on my fingers. 

"Fuck it." I heard him mumble, then placed his index finger under my chin, bringing my face up to meet his once again.

"Be my girlfriend Fawn?" He asked shyly.

I had no words but quickly hugged him again and whispered "Yes" Into his ear.

I could feel the smile grow on his face as he hugged tighter.

"Awww." Both George and Ron said in mocking tones.

I rolled my eyes and wished everyone a Happy Christmas as I walked up the stairs to get dressed before breakfast, Hermione didn't follow and said that she didn't care if she was still in her pyjamas or not.
