Even after leaving breakfast early, I still managed to be late to my first class. I walked in to Professor Moody practically screaming at the entire class. I'm not going to lie, he was kind of freaky. I was looking around for a familiar face for me to sit next to. Unfortunately both Hermione, Harry and Ron were already sitting next to someone. It was then that Moody turned to me and unclenched his jaw. His glass eye looked me up and down, almost examining me while the other stayed staring directly into my eyes.
"Ahhh, Miss Pierce. Take a seat" He said while pointing towards a table at the back next to a boy with white blonde hair.
Without speaking a word, I walked over and took my seat. Not daring to look the boy in the eyes. I pulled out a few of my books and rested my elbow on the table while using my hand to slowly massage the back of my neck. I was already stressed about what this day was going to hold.
I had completely zoned out for the entire lesson. I only realised I had zoned out when I heard Professor Moody speak a curse I never wish to hear. I looked down, only to realise that there was an insect that resembled a spider, shrivelled up and motionless on the top of my books. I couldn't help but feel a tears welling up and prickling through my eyes. Not thinking, I stood up and nearly ran out of the classroom, I could feel everyones eyes on me.
I was walking down one of the many different hallways when I heard a crash and a boom coming from one of the empty classrooms. I tilted my head slightly and began to open the door only to see Fred in fits of laughter on the floor, while George was covered in ash and smoke. I couldn't help but laugh at him too. As I crept closer and closer to get a better look, I felt an arm snake its way around my shoulder, Fred was pulling me in to laugh at his brother with him.
"Honestly George, I told you. You're supposed to stir it counter-clockwise" Fred tried to say, although he was struggling to catch a breath.
"What are you laughing at Pierce?" George looked up and asked sternly.
I tried to take him seriously, I really did. We stood there for about ten seconds while I was trying to think of something to say. But I couldn't help myself, I started laughing yet again. I could see that he was getting upset now, but that didn't matter.
What did matter was that I was sure a teacher would come into the room any second and give all three of us detention on the spot. So I quickly grabbed both Fred and George's wrists and ran out of the class room, down a couple of halls and into a broom cupboard.
"Well this is cosy-" George started but was quickly cut off.
"Shhhhhh" I snapped.
We all stayed quiet as we heard the quick marching steps of a teacher walking past the cupboard that we hid in. After we could all hear that they were gone I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding. I looked at the two boys and noticed that we were in very close proximity, it was starting to get uncomfortable.
"Common room?" I asked with high hopes.
They both smirked at me. So, taking that as a yes, I opened the door and peeked me head out to make sure that we were in the clear. After I was one hundred percent positive, we snuck out of our cupboard and went up to the Gryffindor common room.

After getting back to the common room, it was almost time for lunch. Fred and George couldn't be bothered to go all the way to the great hall, so they practically begged me to stay int he common room with them.
I sat down in a chair by the fireplace and began to read my book that I was trying to finish, Fred and George both sat with me for a while before the stood and said they'd be back soon. While I continued to read my book by the fire place, I heard a very loud CRASH. I turned around to see Fred on the floor with his brother on top of him.
