Chapter 9

Claire's POV

It's been like 5 minutes but both her parents are still not responding. Parang lalabas na sa katawan ko ang puso ko sa kaba!

But Lynn on the other hand is surprisingly still calm at parang wala lang na nagpapatuloy sa pagkain.

"What's wrong love? Hindi ba masarap? Do you want me to change the f-" Nagtatakang tanong ni Lynn at para bang hindi niya nababasa ang tensyon na nasa hapag ngayon.

"N-no the food is good. It's f-fine." Nagpatuloy nalang ako sa pagkain at hindi na umimik pa. Same goes with her parents.

Agad na kaming tumayo pagkatapos kumain. Kinuha ko na din ang gamit ko sa kwarto ni Lynn.

"U-um t-tita, t-tito...Uuwi na po ako. Thank you sa dinner." Magalang na paalam ko sa kanila.

"Sige iha. Mang Ben pakihatid po muna itong si Claire sa kanila." Utos ni Tito sa driver nila at lumabas naman si Mang Ben para I ready ata ang sasakyan.

"Hatid ko po muna siya sa labas Dad." Then Lynn held my hand at sinamahan na ako palabas.

Until now naba-bother parin ako sa reaction ng parents niya. I can't tell if they're actually okay with our relationship or baka iniisip nila na nagbibiro lang tong anak nila.

But they really seemed nice tho.

Lynn suddenly squeezed my hand that made me snap back into reality. "Love are you okay? What's bothering you?" Nag-aalalang tanong ni Lynn sakin.

"Iniisip ko lang yung parents mo. Di ko alam kung okay lang ba talaga sila satin since they didn't say anything at all." She just smiled at me.

"Don't worry about them na okay? They're fine love." Sure na sure na sabi niya pa. But if she say so then okay. That's her parents and she knows them better than me so I'll trust her nalang.

Nakarating na kami sa sasakyan nila at pinagbuksan ako ng pinto ni Mang Ben.

"Una na ko ha? Goodnight love." I said then kissed her forehead which made her smile.

"Mag-iingat kayo love, Mang Ben. Goodnight too." With that ay pumasok nako sa sasakyan at hinatid nga ako ni Mang Ben pauwi. About my bike, I'm sure hindi naman mawawala yun since may mga security parin naman sa school tuwing gabi.

"Oy ano tong nababalitaan ko na may jowa ka na? At SC President pa daw!" Biglang sambit ni Sari out of nowhere.

I'm currently at her house so. And maybe to catch things up with her.

"Well it's true. Until now di pa nga rin ako makapaniwala eh. Everything happened so fast. At siya yung nakuwento ko sayo dati" Natatawang turan ko and continued reading my book.

"Sanaol nakakatuluyan yung crush! Pakilala mo naman ako next time!"

"Yeah yeah sure." It looks like she really wants to meet Lynn. So I guess I'll introduce her one of these days.

"Let's go sa mall! May bibilhin ako." Aya niya sakin. Gusto ko rin pumunta sa mall at magtingin-tingin ng ibibigay kay Lynn.

We're on our way to the shop that Sari was talking about. Madami daw magagandang accessories dun.

When we got inside the shop, I can say that it is indeed beautiful. I like the ambiance and the colors.

Nagsimula kaming magtingin-tingin until this one stuff caught my attention.

I smiled while holding it. It somehow reminds me of her. I decided to buy it since it's not that expensive din naman.

"Look! Maganda ba?" Sari asked while showing me the accessories that she picked.

"Kahit ano nalang."

"Anlayo ng sagot mo! Yes or No lang eh!" Nagtatampururot na naman ang babaita. At the end she decided to buy all of them.

"Kain muna tayo. Sa Jollibee tayo?" Looks like she's hungry. Well I am too but I can manage.

"Sure basta libre mo."

"Andaya mo! Ako na naman hays." I just giggled.

"Ako na sa susunod pramis." Tapos ayun nagningning ang mga mata niya hahahaha.

"Sasapakin kita pag di ka tumupad sa usapan." Pagbabanta niya sa akin while showing me her fist.

"Oo na sabi eh." I just shrugged.

Pagdating namin sa Jollibee ay medyo maraming tao. Punuan pa ang mga table!
Expected naman to dahil this is Jollibee duh! Of course marami talagang tao.

At last ay may mga tumayo din then we occupied it.

"Ako na oorder. Ano sayo?" Nag-volunteer na ako dahil siya naman ang magbabayad.

"Spaghetti at Sundae parin and I know same lang din sakin pipiliin mo." Yeah she knows me so well.

She then gave me the money and I went to the counter to order our food.

Inaantay muna namin ang order namin dito sa table.

"Alam mo ba? May nakita akong gwapo the other day! Like really! He's good looking!" Eto na naman siya sa kaniyang mga 'gwapo' daw. Napano naman kaya yung boyfriend niya this time? Break na naman?

Di nalang ako kumibo but I listened. Sanay naman na siya sakin.

Hindi naman sa judgemental ako. It's just.... It's hard to get my attention by looks. Minsan lang ako magandahan sa isang tao. Yun bang high-standards. But I don't think there's something wrong with that. I mean it's my eyes. That's how I am. That's how I see things. Right?

Finally dumating din ang order namin then we started eating.

While we're eating I saw a familiar figure outside the glass. A very familiar figure!

I can't be wrong!

That was 'Lynn'.

Who's that guy with her? She seems happy. She was clinging into his arms. I couldn't clearly see his face because he was looking at the other side.

What the heck are they doing here? I mean bakit sila magkasama? What's going on between those two?

Dang! I need to talk to her as soon as possible. I can't just jump to conclusions. I need to ask her first.

"Huy napano ka? Natulala kana dyan!" Sari snapped at me.

"A-ano wala! May naalala lang ako." I lied. Well...Not that she needs to know that.

This is a matter between me and Lynn so.

She better explain this to me.
