You turned the bathroom light off before opening the door, worrying that if it might wake up Jade, who you thought was still sound asleep in bed.

You got up just a few minutes ago. It's almost five am but you woke up and found that your period had begun, which gave you no other choice but to get out of bed, even though you really didn't want to.

When you left the bed Jade was still sound asleep. But, to your surprise, when you opened the door and exited the bathroom, you found the lamp on and Jade sat up as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes.

"Oh, baby, I'm sorry. I didn't wake you, did I?" You asked as you padded across the floor to the bed, groaning as you felt the terrible cramps begin.

"No. I just rolled over a few minutes ago to hold you and you weren't there, so I got a little worried." She said before yawning.

She finally got a good glimpse of you after rubbing the sleep from her eyes and feeling a little more awake, her eyes feeling much less heavy now.

She frowned upon watching you get into bed again but with a wince as you sank your teeth into your lip.

"Are you okay? Are you sick, baby?" She asked worriedly and you shrugged your shoulders.

"Not necessarily. But it's that time of the month again and I feel awful." You groaned. "I have cramps already and I just don't feel good."

She knows that feeling all too well. Instinctively, she got out of bed to grab you some medicine to take your cramps away as well as a heating pad, knowing it would help to bring you some much-needed relief as well.

"Where are you going? I need cuddles." You pouted as she left the bed and she turned her head to look back at you as she made her way into the bathroom, sending you a sleepy but cute smile.

"I'm going to get you a few things to help you feel better. Don't worry, baby. I'll be there to cuddle you in just a minute."

You closed your eyes and moved around uncomfortably, trying to find a position to lay in that will help your cramps.

But a moment later, you felt warmth against your stomach as Jade lifted your shirt just a little and placed the heating pad against your skin.

You hummed blissfully and then opened your tired eyes, finding her gazing back at you with her beautiful brown eyes.

"Here, my love. I got you some medicine too."

She put the pills in your hand and grabbed the glass of water you had on the nightstand, watching as you took a few sips and swallowed the medicine down before laying back.

"Hopefully that'll help you."

"I feel a little better already. Thank you." You said as she climbed into bed with you again.

"You're welcome. Before I cuddle you, is there anything else you need? Chocolate? More water? Are you feeling sick at all?"

"I'm okay. Cuddles with my girl is all I need." You said and watched her smile before she turned off the lamp and laid down next to you again.

You were wrapped in her warm embrace just a few seconds later. Your legs were tangled with hers as she put her arms around you and let you lay your head on her chest.

"If you need anything, tell me so I can help."

"Thanks, baby." You smiled as you started to fall back asleep while Jade began to play with your hair and kiss across your head lovingly.

"It's what I'm here for. You always take care of me when my period hits. You know I'm here to do the same for you. I love you lots. Get some sleep."

"I love you too." You said before falling asleep, leaving Jade smiling brightly to herself before laying her cheek on your head and closing her tired eyes, falling back asleep with you in her comforting embrace.
