It's been a long week. You felt like it was never gonna end. Everything that kept coming your way was all making you feel overwhelmed, one thing after another piling on top of your already heavy shoulders and it all led to you feeling like you were gonna have a breakdown.

You walked inside the house and sat on the couch. The tears immediately started to fall, you just couldn't take it anymore. Jade heard you crying from the kitchen. She knelt down on the floor in front of you and put her hands on your arm, her thumbs rubbing your soft skin comfortingly. "I'm sorry" you muttered and Jade shook her head at you, pulling you to her chest and letting you cry on her shoulder.

"It's just been such a long week. Everything's just too much, Jade." Jade kissed your forehead and grabbed your hand. "Come with me, okay?" You nodded and stood up. She led you upstairs and had you sit on the bed while she filled the tub with water. When it was ready she grabbed your hand again and helped you strip out of your clothes and into the warm water.

You sighed as soon as it hit your tense muscles. Jade smiled at you and kissed your forehead. "I'll be right back. You relax." She mumbled and left the bathroom to go to the bedroom and grab you your favorite sweater of hers. You loved how comfortable and fuzzy it was and it always smells like her which is something that makes you feel even more comfortable, and right now that's all Jade wants for you.

She came back into the bathroom and put the sweater on the counter. She knelt down on the floor and gave you a long sweet kiss on your lips. "I'm gonna go make you some dinner. You stay in here for as long as you want. Just take your time and relax, my love."

You took your time in the water, even refilling it a couple times when the water turned cold. You got out after a little while longer though and saw Jade's sweater on the counter, your eyes lighting up and a smile on your face for the first time in days. You dried off with the towel before slipping the fuzzy sweater over your head, sighing at how nice it felt on your skin and how much it smelled like Jade.

You went back downstairs to find Jade at the stove. You walked up behind her and wrapped your arms around her waist, your face resting in the crook of her neck as you inhaled the scent of her perfume that lingered on her skin. "Hi." You muttered and Jade giggled, stirring whatever was cooking in the pan before turning around and kissing your cheek. "Hi my sweet girl. Feeling any better now?" You planted a kiss to her lips and smiled against them. "So much better. Thank you." She kissed your jaw a few times before grabbing your hand and leading you to the kitchen table. "No problem at all. Now you sit here and take it easy. Dinner will be ready in just a few minutes."

"Jade?" She looked back at you and saw you grinning at her and she grinned right back at you, her heart fluttering in her chest. "I love you." "I love you so much more, y/n."
