FaceTiming when she's on tour

You sat on your bed in your most comfortable pair of sweatpants as a movie played quietly in the background. You were laying on Jade's side of the bed, you've been missing her so much more lately so snuggling up to her pillow that smells just like her was comforting for you.

You heard your phone chime next to you and when you grabbed it, you saw it was a FaceTime request from Jade. You hit the accept button and saw Jade's bright smile on your screen. "Jade!" "Hi baby! How are you?" Her voice was music to your ears. So cheerful and happy and it all made you feel so happy.

"I miss you." You saw the sad smile form on her face when you said that. "I miss you too. It's just a couple more months till I come home." You nodded and lowered your gaze until you heard Jade say your name. "y/n... look at me." You looked up and bit your lip, trying not to stare at the screen as the tears threatened to fall from your eyes. "Baby please don't cry."

It was too late. The tears were streaming down your face nonstop and it broke Jade's heart. "I'm sorry" you mumbled and Jade shook her head, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion, wondering why you were apologizing for crying. "Don't be sorry. I miss you too y/n. I know it's hard with me being gone, it's not easy for me being away from you. But I'll be home soon, okay. Just a couple more months, I promise." You nodded your head and wiped away your tears.

"It's almost midnight your time, baby, you should get to sleep." You sniffled and wiped your cheeks once more. "Okay. Can you sing me to sleep?" Jade smiled as you laid your head back against her pillow and shut the lamp off. She started to sing Touch quietly as your eyes slipped shut.

It was only about five minutes later when you were completely asleep. "I love you so much y/n." She said before ending the FaceTime call, ready to talk to you again when you woke up.
