your stomach hurts

You groaned as you tried to roll around carefully on the bed and find a comfortable position that would help to ease the pain. But it felt like the more you moved the worse the pain became and you were at your breaking point, unsure if you could handle any more of it.

You flopped onto your back again and winced at the pain that followed. "Is it getting worse honey?" You nodded and felt Jade pull your hand from your stomach, replacing your hand with yours.

She could feel the heat from your skin. Her heart ached with every wince and groan that left your lips. "Oh, baby. I'm sorry you're hurting so much. Is there anything I can do? Anything to help you? Just name it, I'll do it."

She brushed away the hairs that were beginning to cling to your forehead. "No. Nothing helps." You whimpered, tears welling up in your eyes as you clutched your stomach again only for Jade to take ahold of your hand and intertwine your fingers to let you squeeze her own.

"I know. It's okay, honey" She kissed your forehead. It broke her heart to see you like this. You moved your head to rest on her shoulder and you felt slightly comforted by her lips touching your face lovingly. "Try to sleep if you can. I'm right here." She soothed and continued to rub your achy stomach.

She noticed how it was starting to help you and that your eyes had closed. You were in that half-awake and half-asleep state and Jade's heart swelled at the sight of you finally looking a little more relaxed.

Your face was no longer contorted from the pain and your hand was still squeezing hers although the grip you had was beginning to loosen.

"I love you, baby girl. Sleep well. I'll be right here when you wake up. Hopefully, you'll feel much better then." She whispered, kissing across your forehead a few times as your breathing evened out and you drifted off to sleep, already starting to feel better than before, all thanks to Jade.
