You sobbed at the burnt dessert in front of you. You wanted to surprise Jade with a yummy dessert tonight but you ended up getting distracted and ended up burning it.

The kitchen is a complete mess and there was smoke coming from the oven. You were sitting at the table in tears when the front door opened and Jade ran into the kitchen. The burnt smell hit her from the moment she walked through the door and she was instantly worried about you.

"Y/n?" She ran over to you and knelt down on the floor in front of you. "Honey what happened?" She lifted your chin up and wiped your tears away. "I wanted to do something nice for you. I tried to bake you a pumpkin pie but I burnt it. I'm sorry." you sobbed and Jade shook her head.

"It's alright, my love. I'm sure it's not that bad..." she stood up and walked to the counter, one glance at the burnt dessert and she knew you had worked hard on it. So she grabbed a fork and started to eat it making you laugh. You got up from your chair and walked up behind her, wrapping your arms around her waist and giggling as she ate the dessert. "Jade, babe, you don't have to eat it."

She turned to you and kissed your forehead before continuing to eat it. "It's not bad baby. It's actually pretty good, 'course it'd be better if it wasn't burnt, but it's good nonetheless." You poked her side making her giggle. "Plus I told you i'd do anything for you. What kind of girlfriend would I be if I didn't keep that promise and acknowledge your hard work?" She pressed a sloppy kiss to your lips before putting a forkful of the dessert in your mouth.

"Thanks baby." You smiled and rested your head on her shoulder. "You're welcome y/n. Thanks for doing this for me. I love you so much."
