Your breakfast yesterday with Jade went really well. She even kissed you on the cheek which made your heart skip a beat.

You woke up this morning and walked to the kitchen, wondering if you should try to cook again or go knock on Jade's door. It's only nine am and you didn't know if she was busy or still asleep so you decided against it. You pulled out a pan and put it on the stove but as soon as you did there was a knock on your door.

You opened it and saw Jade standing there. "C'mon." She said, tugging on your hand and leading you out of your apartment. "Where are we going?" She smirked at you, making sure you closed your door but didn't lock yourself out, before she entered her apartment with you.

"I told you I was gonna make you breakfast, yeah?" She walked you over to the table and pulled out a chair for you. "Thank you." Jade smiled at you, rubbing your shoulder and letting her fingertips linger on your skin a little longer than you expected.

She walked over to the stove and started to cook a few of your favorite things. "Anything I can do to help?" Jade smiled over at you and shook her head. "Nope. I've got it." You stared at her for a few moments, watching as she cooked. "I can feel you staring at me" she said making you turn your head and blush.

She put a plate of your favorite foods in front of you a few seconds later and you swore that your mouth was watering from how delicious it all looked. You put a forkful in your mouth making Jade chuckle as she sat down with a plate next to you. "You must like it?" She asked hopefully and you giggled, wiping your mouth with a napkin and putting it on your lap. "It's so good. Seriously, Jade, thank you so much for making it for me. You really didn't have to." Jade shook her head and took your hand in hers. "I know, but I wanted to. I'd be happy to make you breakfast whenever you want."

You nodded your head. "That'd be great considering I clearly can't cook without setting off the fire alarm." You both laughed and Jade moved her chair so she could sit directly in front of you. "You're beautiful." You shook your head at her words, not really believing her until she grabbed your chin in her palm. You were about to say something when she pressed her lips to yours.

You kissed her back right away, her hands moving to your cheeks while you moved yours to her sides. She pulled back from the kiss a few seconds later but pressed her forehead on yours while she stared into your eyes. "I really really like you y/n." You smiled widely, pecking her lips softly making her smile back at you. "I like you too Jade."

And with that, her lips were back on yours - neither of you focused on breakfast anymore, rather each other instead.
