It seemed as though she couldn't really get much of a break. Early mornings and late nights is exactly what Jade's week has consisted of and now, she's completely exhausted. She felt like she could barely take another step and as soon as she walked through the front door she collapsed right on the couch.

You walked out of the kitchen to find her on the couch with her forearm over her eyes, her shoes still on her feet as her legs hung off the side of the couch, and her jacket was still hanging off her shoulders. "Jade?" You whispered her name and walked over to her, crouching down on the floor by her and putting your hand over her arm. She whined and looked at you and you couldn't believe the sight. She had dark circles under her eyes, the lack of sleep from her busy schedule clearly taking it's toll on her. "Oh baby. Come on, let's get you to bed."

You stood up and extended your hand out towards her. She grabbed it and slowly followed you up the stairs, practically collapsing on the mattress when you finally reached the bedroom. You helped her take off her shoes and her jacket before putting a hand on her forehead and running your fingers through her hair. "Let's get you out of the clothes and into something more comfortable." She sat up tiredly, her eyes staying closed because she didn't have the energy to open them.

You helped her take off the hoodie she had on before putting one of her favorite t-shirts on her. You helped her out of her shorts and slid on some sweats before gently pushing her back on the bed. "You comfy?" She nodded, a yawn leaving her lips as she mumbled something incoherent. "You're gonna lay down with me, right?" You smiled and stoked her cheek softly. You got into bed and just as you laid your head back on the pillows, Jade moved her head to your shoulder. her breath tickled the skin of your neck but you held back your giggles as she started to drift off to sleep. "Night beautiful. Sweet dreams." She only nodded in response, way too tired to say anything back but you knew she wished you the same.
