she's sick

You woke up to a bright light shining in your eye. When you opened your eyes you realized it was the bathroom light. You looked next to you, ready to ask Jade why she left the light on when you saw that she wasn't in bed next to you.

You heard an awful sound coming from the bathroom. Suddenly it all clicked and you jumped out of bed, running into the bathroom to find Jade sitting on the floor in front of the toilet, getting sick. "Oh baby." You sat down behind her and pulled her hair back from her face. She rested her forearms on the toilet seat and then rested her head on them. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wake you up." "No baby, don't apologize. It's alright."

She was about to say something else but couldn't because she was getting sick again. "It's okay, my love, just let it out. Let it all out." It took her a few minutes until she felt like she was finished. She attempted to catch her breath while you rubbed her back. "You okay?" She nodded, her hand moving to rub over her stomach. "Yeah i'm alright. My stomach hurts but I think i'm done being sick for now."

You got up and grabbed the cup from the mouthwash, rinsing it out before filling it with water and letting her take a couple sips of it. "You've gotta be dehydrated Jade. Here, lemme help you brush your teeth then we'll get you back to bed." She sighed and stood up on her wobbly knees, her hands a little shaky but she managed to brush her teeth for a minute. You helped her back to bed, covering her up with the blankets and planting a kiss to her forehead.

You then went downstairs and grabbed a bottle of water for her as well as a bucket, just in case. You put the bottle of water on the nightstand next to her and the bucket on the floor when you got back to the bedroom. You ran your fingers through her slightly messy hair, her forehead sweaty and her body feverish. "I'm sorry you don't feel good. Is there anything else I can get you, baby?" She shook her head and closed her eyes.

You laid back down and she moved her head to your chest, your arm wrapping around her loosely, just in case she felt sick again. "I appreciate you taking care of me. I love you a lot." She muttered as she started to close her eyes once again. "I'll always be here to take care of you. Wake me up if you need anything. I love you so much."
