"I found mistletoe"

The words from your fight with Jade still lingered in your mind as you walked through the snow and back to the house.

The fight had become too overwhelming for you and you ended up walking out to get some fresh air. Between work and the pressure of the holiday season, both you and Jade are incredibly, and understandably, stressed out.

You walked up the steps to the house and quickly walked inside. The warm air hit your freezing cold body making you shiver. "You're home." you heard Jade say and you turned your head to find her standing in the doorway of the kitchen. "Yeah. I'm sorry for walking out. I shouldn't have done that-" more of an apology was on the tip of your tongue, ready to be spoken until Jade came over and put her index finger against your lips.

"Hey, you're not the only one to blame, okay? I started the stupid fight but I just wanna put it behind us." You slowly smiled as she reached behind her back and pulled out the mistletoe. "I found mistletoe..." Your lips slowly tugged up into a smile as she smirked at you.

You looped your arms around her neck and kissed her, enjoying the feeling of her soft lips on yours. You pulled away after a few seconds though and bit your lip hard as you gazed into her soft brown eyes. "I really am sorry Jade." She simply shook her head at you before kissing you again.

With the love you both felt emitting from each and every kiss shared, you both knew the fight was long forgotten as everything turned hazy and you began to melt into each other.
