You're sick on the tour bus

You woke up this morning with a small headache and a slight nauseous feeling in your stomach. You tried to brush it off and tell yourself that it was probably just motion sickness.

But as the day went on you felt worse. Perrie was the first to notice, when you wouldn't eat your lunch and you just simply pushed it around with your fork. "You okay y/n?" The rest of the girls looked at you, all of them noticing then just how pale and sick you looked.

Jade put her hand on your back and began to rub soothing circles through your shirt. "You do look a little sick, babe. You feeling okay?" She put her hand on your forehead and frowned when she felt that you had a fever. "You've got a little fever. Why don't we get you back to the bus?" Leigh-Anne moved out of the booth so Jade could get you out of the restaurant and back to the bus.

She made you lay on the couch where she could keep a better eye on you. Unfortunately, the girls have a show tonight but seeing you like this and knowing you're sick even though you're too stubborn to admit it, Jade was hesitant to perform.

"Maybe I should just cancel. I can stay here and take care of you." She said as she gently rubbed your achy stomach. "No, Jade. There's thousands of fans in that crowd that look up to you and have been dreaming of this day and dreamed of seeing you. You have to go." She sighed and stroked your hair. "Fine, but you get ahold of someone if you feel worse. Tell them to tell me, no matter what. I don't care if I'm performing, you have them tell me right away." You nodded and gave her hand a squeeze. "Okay. Honestly though, I'm just gonna try to get some sleep. I'll be okay."

Jade didn't feel right leaving you alone on the bus, but she knows you do need sleep and she is obligated to perform. So with a kiss on your forehead, she walked off the bus and into the arena with her ringer all the way up, just in case you call or text.

You were fine for an hour. You managed to fall asleep and you actually slept pretty well for a little while, until you woke up feeling even worse. Your stomach was so sore you could barely move, your skin was sticky with sweat and your clothes were soaked with it, and you felt like you were gonna throw up at any given moment.

You tried to close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, telling yourself that if you did that the sick feeling would go away - but it only got worse. You jumped up from the couch and ran to the bathroom to get sick, your stomach aching with every step you took. You slammed and locked the door behind you before you threw up.

Every second of it was awful and it lasted a few minutes before it stopped. You rested your forearms on the seat and dropped your head against them, not even caring about the germs that were lingering all over it.

You closed your eyes and took some deep breaths when you suddenly heard the sound of Jesy and Perrie laughing as they got on the bus. The first thing they noticed was that you weren't on the couch and the sound of you throwing up made their eyes go wide.

Jesy ran off the bus to grab Jade while perrie ran to the bathroom door and tried to open it to check on you, only to find that it was locked. "Y/n? Are you okay?" She gently knocked on the door, sighing sadly when you groaned in response, her anxiety heightening.

The rest of the girls ran on the bus with Jade in front. Perrie moved out of her way so she could talk to you. "Y/n, honey, what happened?" Silence. Jade was worried, until she heard you sniffle. "I got sick,  Jade. I'm sorry." Jade shook her head and rested it on the door. "No need to apologize, baby, it's not your fault. You've got nothing to be sorry about. Can you open the door for me? So I can get you back to the couch?"

It took you a minute but you finally got the strength to stand on your shaky knees. You opened the door and instantly walked into Jade's arms. She wrapped them around you but kept her grip loose so it wouldn't make you feel sick again. "C'mon, love. Let's get you to the couch."

There was a glass of water waiting for you on the floor next to a bucket. "We need to get you a different shirt. You've sweat through this one." Jade whispered as Perrie sprang into action and went to jade's suitcase, grabbing one of her goodies and bringing it back to Jade for you.

Jade helped you out of the shirt that was sticking to your sweaty skin, helping you into the hoodie and you couldn't help but feel relieved when that clinging fabric was removed from you and replaced with something much softer.

You laid back on the couch and Jade ran her fingers through your hair, moving some away from your forehead that was sticking to your forehead from you sweating so much. "Your fever is higher." Jade muttered as she swiped her hand across your forehead. "Go back to sleep y/n. I'll be right here if you need anything." She kissed your head and watched as you closed your eyes, hoping that you'd feel better now that your stomach was feeling a little emptier and you could get a little more sleep.
