Zeosh's POV
"So now, may i ask what courses you two will take?"
Our great science teacher asked out of a sudden.
"Computer science"
"Computer science!"
We immediately glance at each other after we said those words at the same time.
I saw her titled her head then look at somewhere else. Our teacher laugh then gazed at us.
I can't believe we'll take the same course.
"Ms. De Dios, Mr. Santos, do you know how i dream of this collaboration of yours ever since i knew you?" he said
He's the one who assigned us this important project in science. He said, he wanted to count on someone who is really capable, which is happened to be us.
"But i didn't expect this to become more exciting"
He giggled.
"Your academical mindsets are really the same. You are like math and science, perfect combination. But I know too, you are a complete opposite of each other in personal. Am i right?"
We didn't bother to respond. Tinignan ko lang ang gawi niya. She's not talking nor looking at me.
She's really determined to avoid me, she took those words of mine, seriously. Though i really mean it. I just didn't really expect she'll consider it.
"Okay, let's call it a day, thank you for your hardworks kids. If you encounter some trouble in the future, don't hesitate to call me. Okay?"
Tumango lang ako at tumayo na.
"At last.."
I heard her mumured.
She's eager to finish this project huh?
Nauna na siyang lumabas na sinundan ko lang. After i close the door, i saw her talking with Venus, right outside of our room.
Kunwari dumaan lang ako sa harap nila para maagaw ang atensyon nila. But after a lot of steps i made, nothing really happen.
FOR REAL?
"Eherm"
Sabi ko pa na kunwari clini-clear ang throat. Pero patuloy pa rin talaga sila sa pagkwekwentuhan.
Hindi ako makapaniwalang humarap sa kanila sabay daan na naman at dumiretso na sa kabilang daan.
"Hshsh, you guys are so famous in online now"
I heard Jexie giggled.
"Huh?"
"You know, kayo nila kuya, si Khuro, yung panganay ni tito Stell, at si ano.. SB20 daw eh. HAHAHA"
Utomatikong tumaas ang isang kilay ko sa sinabi niya. Anong 'si ano'?
Tsk, mahirap nabang bigkasin ang pangalan ko ngayon huh?
"Tsk, I'm born famous"
I whisper in the air.
"Are you saying something, Zeo?"
Humarap ako kay Venus at nginisian siya ng unti.
"You imagined it"
I said.
After that, Jexie pulled him away then walk to the opposite of the way i was about to take.
"Tara na, nagugutom na ako"
"Okay, then let's have a super duper spicy noddle"
Narinig ko pa ang malakas halakhakan nila sa hallway habang naglalakad palayo.
"Tsk, noisy"
I said then wince.
I turned around, then turned again. Tinapon ko ang ballpen ko sa direksyon nila kahit alam ko namang hindi aabot kasi malayo na sila.
"I'll pray you'll get chocked!"
Inis akong naglakad pababa ng building at dumiretso na pauwi ng bahay. Nilagpasan ko si dad na pirming nagbabasa ng magazine.
I was about to get upstairs when he called me.
"Hmm?"
I simplify respond.
I respect my dad so much, and i don't let my vexation affect it.
"Your mom's waiting for you in our room, go there"
He said then smile.
I nodded then went to their room.
"Good afternoon mom"
I saw her sitting on the bed while looking at her phone.
"Come here son"
Lumapit naman ako at umupo sa tabi nila.
"What's the matter?"
She showed me her screen and I saw some trending post online about the so called SB20, which is obviously Me, Javy, Khuro, Venus, and Six (first born of tito Sejun)
"I look handsome at that picture"
I casually said.
He softly hitted me on arm. "Aren't you afraid?"
"Afraid of what?"
She cross her arms. "To be a public figure because of this trending"
I shrugged. "I'm already a public figure, mom"
Once again, she hitted me.
Patay kami ni daddy, mukhang boksingero tong another Santos.
"The public figure i was talking about has a big responsibility. It's not as lowkey as you think"
She seriously said.
I clung to her arm then lay my head in her shoulder.
"No worries, andito ka naman na manager ko e"
"Sus.. You know what, son, after seeing this picture of you five, i really remembered SB19 and all those kind staffs"
She said.
Nakinig lang ako at baka dahil iyon sa pregnancy hormones niya. Minsan lang magkwento si mom nuh.
"Yeah, the day when you almost kill them all with your cold aura"
I joked.
"I can see myself into you"
"Indeed"
I agreed.
Having my mom beside me makes me feel home. I think i already felt this feeling before.
Pero saan, kailan, at kanino?
Nawala ang kunot sa noo ko nang maalala iyon. When me and Jexie stumbled at each other in that forest.
But it's impossible, bakit ko naman iyon mararamdaman sa kanya? Tsk, kabaliwan.
"By the way, Where's Jexie? How is she? Why don't you invite her here to have a dinner?"
Dun lang ako humiwalay sa pagkakayakap sa kanila at sumeryoso.
"No need"
"Why?"
"She's already eating with her boyfriend"
I said in my casual tone, cold.
"She has a boyfriend?!"
"Maybe"
For the third time, my gorgeous mom hitted her Charismatic son again.
"Mom, anak ba talaga yan ni dad o anak ni pacquiao?"
Hinaplos ko ang bahaging iyon na tinamaan ni mommy. Mapanakit din ah.
"You scared me, i thought she really had boyfriend"
"Bakit ka naman kakabahan?"
Curious kong tanong.
Suddenly, a part of me wish that it was because of me. Maybe, I'm too complacent for Jexie's feeling for me.
My mom smirk at me then move his brows up and down.
"I want this baby in my tummy to be her boyfie"
She giggled then chuckled.
Napatayo nalang ako ng wala sa oras.
"What the fuck?"
