Jae: I can't believe Filch is asking us to clean the Battlement, I mean it's bound get dirty anyway.... and no one even comes here.

Xan: While it was either this or the toilets so... I'm quite peachy.

Jae: Well now you can say whatever it is you wanted to say, without Hayley being with us,

Jae said picking a bucket of water and a rag as they entered in the battlement. The cold breeze ruffling their hair.

Xan: I think Hayley's lying to us about something...

Jae: Lying?!

Xan: Maybe not  necessarily lying, but she's definitely hiding something

Jae: What makes you so sure?

Xan: She's been a bit off since Wednesday,

Jae: Anyone could be a little off with the possibility that something might petrify you any moment,

Xan: I don't think its about that, she is actually kind of evasive about it,

Jae: Evasive how?

Xan: She tells she's going to the library, but she isn't, I've even asked Pince,

Jae: Do you think, she found something about the Chamber?

Xan: I hope not, it would be dimwitted to do that alone...

Jae: Yeah, but it also could be something else... I think she would tell us if she got something on the Chamber... Right?

Xan: Maybe...

Jae: Let's find clues, during the times she's actually visited the library, what does she read?

Xan: It's mostly about potions or history. By history, I mean the modern ones, the ones about you-know-who.

Jae: She reads a lot about that war doesn't she?

Xan: Yeah,

Jae: What does she particularly study about in potions? 

Xan: Lately, she keeps this list of ingredients grouped together and I sometimes hear her mumbling 'not this one'

Jae: Interesting, You think you can get hold of the list?

Xan : I can try, we could also try following her, when she says she's going to the library,

Jae: Yeah, but it feels wrong to spy on her...

Xan: We wouldn't be doing this if she just tells us the truth,

Jae: Should we just leave her be? For sometime?

Xan: Why?

Jae: If this turns out to be nothing, I'm sure she's going to be upset,

Xan : Won't she be upset either way?

Jae: I'm just telling that it won't hurt much to wait and watch for sometime.
