Arizona's POV:

The sun had almost set as Callie and I were sitting at the park, looking out over the Seattle skyline, from the South slope of Queen Anne Hill.

"So, spill it Torres, what's been going on with you these days? Did you accept the Attending's position at Lower Manhattan Presbyterian?"

"No, I am still trying to figure out whether or not I want to get into a contract with another hospital at this point in my life. I have a week left to respond to the offer and I've been trying to weigh out all the pro's and con's."

"Penny and I are out of sync lately, so that hasn't helped my decision making process at this juncture either. I feel like I'm at a crossroad in my life, career and relationship. I'm not sure what to do at the moment. And, being here the last two hours has made me realize Seattle still feels like home, just to confound things more."

I scooted a little bit closer to Callie on the bench at that point for a few reasons. Primarily, I was cold and secondarily, I could tell she needed a friend to lean on. Once I slid into her left side, she leaned her head on my right shoulder and I wrapped my right arm around her left shoulder and neck and gave her a peck on her forehead. We ended up sitting like that, not talking much and just watching the sun sink into the cold water of the Sound for the next 10 minutes.

The sky had gone dark at this point, so we decided it was time to get up, and walk the 6 blocks back to the house.

As we walked home, we talked about Sophia and laughed at some of the memories we had shared in Seattle during our time together. It was nice to be able to reminisce with Calllie. She will always get me, despite the turmoil we survived during our relationship/marriage. It's just so easy to spend time with her and has been since we met. We have always been able to pickup from the last time we've talked, effortlessly, no matter what.

Once we returned to the house and, after opening the front door, we were greeted by an array of food fragrances that were intoxicating. Sophia also greeted us both and lept into Callie's arms, while getting scooped up by Callie.

"Mom, Mama! We made dinner and it's time to eat it."

"Okay, Baby Girl. Just give us a minute, and we'll be right there." We both proceeded to remove our coats, hats, scarves and gloves before washing our hands and heading into the dining room to join my family and Sophia.

"Ladies," I said, "it smells amazing! Thank you for all your efforts tonight, I can't wait to eat, I'm starving!" I said to Renee and my Mom.

We were greeted by a dinner table that was set and filled with food. Renee had white wines already opened and poured some for those that wanted vino. We all dished up our food rather noisily, as 3 simultaneous conversations were had.  Renee had made Sophia's Mac and Cheese and breaded chicken strips from scratch and had already served it to her with milk.

As conversations merged into one, we discussed the weather, life in NY for Callie and Sophia, the Seahawks and anything else nonspecific you can think of until dinner was finished. We all helped put away the food, washed the dishes and cleaned the kitchen surfaces.

"Hey Callie, you have a half hour to go get ready." I told her as we were finishing up the kitchen cleanup.

"Ready for what, may I ask?!"

"We are going out, the 3 of us. I already talked to my Mom earlier today and she is going to give Sophia her bath and put her to bed tonight. We were thinking you might want to go to, Joe's?"

"Okay, I'll go get changed and redo my makeup, should only take me 10 minutes."

We all kissed Soph good night and said we'd see her in the morning as we headed to the bar. I made Callie walk in first and heard the loud shouts of, "SURPRISE!!!"

There were a handful of our friends and colleagues I had contacted today in order to set-up this, get together, for Callie. I knew when she saw all those familiar faces, she'd be thrilled and it would make her happy to spend time with all of them.

Sure enough, upon seeing and hearing everyone, Callie teared up a little as Meredith said, "Geez Callie, you've gone soft since living on the East Coast!" Meredith proceeded to wrap her arms around Callie and give her a huge hug.

"I can't believe all of you are actually here," said Callie with a mix of emotions filling her voice, while a single tear spilled down her left cheek.

Everyone took a moment to hug and kiss Callie, I was rather impressed with the turnout. Teddy, April, Christina, Owen, Alex, Webber, Jackson, Bailey and even Addison. Addie was in town for a procedure on an infant this week.

The next 5 hours were spent laughing and listening to everyone tell Callie she needed to move back to Seattle, oh, and an insane amount of alcohol was consumed by most, including me. Renee had cut herself off, after her 2nd drink, hours ago, so she could drive.

"Callie, hey, it's a little after 1 am, so, we're going to head home since we're going to need to be up soon to look after Soph."

"Okay, but I'll just find my own way back to your house. I'm having too much fun to not push through till closing time."

"How will you get home? Cabs and rides are expensive, hard to find and it's dangerous late at night, especially when you are by yourself."

"I'll make sure she gets home okay," said Dr. Webber, who, had been drinking sparkling water all night.

"Thanks Richard, I appreciate you looking out for this chucklehead." I said, as I patted Callie, condescendingly, on her shoulder.

"Callie, here's my house key," I took it off my keychain. "Don't lose it," I said, as I smiled and winked at her.

"Thanks Chief," said Callie. "Who wants to go dance!?" Callie went running, drink in hand, back to the dance floor, while she placed the key on the table.

The rest of the Grey Sloan crew followed her onto the floor, as a tired Renee and myself headed home.

"I think tonight was a huge success," I said to Renee as we left the bar.

"I think so too," said a sleepy Renee, as she yawned and unlocked the car doors. "Let's hope you get your key back and Callie doesn't lose it.  Then I'll consider the night a true success!"

I started laughing, gently wrapped my arms around Renee and leaned onto her right shoulder and neck while she was driving.

"I should be tired, but..." I started rubbing my girlfriend's inner right thigh, "I think I just got my second wind." I started kissing up and down her neck as she was navigating down our street at this point.

"I should be tired too, but cannot say, No, to you!" We had just pulled into the driveway, she parked the car and we headed into the quiet house.

We couldn't get into the bedroom or our clothes off fast enough, before we started kissing, rolling around naked and that's when I felt Renee start rubbing my throbbing, clit, ever so gently with 2 of her fingers.

"Reneeeee... I want you to fuck me so hard tonight, I am so horny and want you inside me."

Pretty safe to say I was still quite tipsy, but I would have been that easy with Renee no matter when we had sex or how much alcohol I drank.

We both orgasmed twice, before I fell asleep, naked and on Renee's chest.

"Did you lock the bedroom door?" Renee asked.

"I did, no worries, it's okay if we fall asleep naked if that's what you're wondering."

(In retrospect, I realized I actually didn't lock the door!)

"It was," she said. "Goodnight sweetie, I love you."

"Goodnight Renee, I love you too."

We both passed out within seconds of saying good night.
