Arizona's POV:
The sound of rain, hitting the roof of the house, was the first audible sound I heard that Friday morning. The entire household must have been exhausted from the activities the last 4 days. It was 7 am and nobody was up yet, not even my daughter. I laid in bed enjoying the sounds of the rain and the silence in the house for the next ten minutes. It was at that point, I heard Soph go charging into Callie's room.
I rolled over and asked Renee, "Are you decent? Sophia is about ready to run in here."
"I am," said my sleepy girlfriend, "I learned my lesson from the other morning, after we fell asleep naked and exhausted from the night's prior activities." She rolled over, winked at me, pressed her body tightly into mine and started passionately kissing my lips."
"It was an amazing night," I said, as our hands started caressing and stroking as much skin as they could find on each other. Just as Renee was starting to kiss down my neck and towards my breasts, our door was flung open by my little, ball of enthusiasm and energy.
"Good morning, Sleepyheads!" Sophia loudly greeted us as she flopped on top of us and the bed. Callie and myself usually call Soph that same nickname when she's being difficult to wake up for school.
"Everyone is asleep still, it's time to get up!" She was already busy trying to tickle Renee. To Sophia's delight, she quickly realized Renee was just as ticklish as she was.
"Your Mama is going to get up now, come give me a kiss, Sweetie."
Sophia and Renee abandoned their tickle-war, as my daughter rolled almost on top of me and planted a big kiss on my lips, while wrapping her arms around my neck. Without missing a beat, Sophia rolled over and gave Renee a big kiss and a hug too.
"I'll see you in the kitchen, my ladies." I had already placed my prosthetic on, found a worn in pair of flannel pajama pants and grabbed a t-shirt from Renee's old t-shirt stash, while my two monkeys went back to their tickle-war.
"Don't be long you two!" I tried to sound annoyed, but was already amused by their antics.
"We won't!" They both paused, answered in unison and then went back to giggling, together.
"Crazy monkeys," I said, as I headed to the kitchen while laughing about my Daughter and Renee. Watching the two of them and the way they had bonded this week, made me fall even more for Renee, than I already had.
My parents were sitting at the kitchen table, having coffee with Callie when I stepped through the door frame.
"Look Daniel, our daughter is still alive! I told you so!" My Mom was trying to make fun of how late I slept in.
"Sorry guys, we must have been exhausted from all the activities this week and yesterday."
"You are not the only one!" Callie spoke up from her side of the table, raising her right hand, as if she was still in school.
"Ladies, you deserved a break after all your efforts this week and yesterday. I commend you for everything you've done thus far." My Dad smartly responded to the conversation. I almost thought for a second, he was going to salute me.
Just then, my monkeys came into the kitchen, still giggling. Renee had gotten Sophia dressed and was giving Sophia a piggyback ride to the kitchen table.
"What does everyone want for breakfast?" asked Renee.
My Mom spoke first, "We're good with our coffee and the croissants we already had. She was referring to my Dad and herself. "I'm still full from all the food yesterday, I think."
