It's visible to the human eye that the Italians have been active on the streets. They're trying to help people and the economy. They're trying to be good guys. There's a fedora to be seen in each street, around each pub.

This is what they want; they want to win their people over, John thinks. He walks into the new Shelby Brothers Limited office for a family meeting. "I swear, Tommy, if I see one more Italian, I'll push them into the cut." He states this to his older brother.

"Calm down, John." Tommy mumbels while araging some papers. It has been visible to Tommy too; it mills about Italians. He knows she's back; it has to be her, but what she wants is yet to be determined by him.

Public recognition is good for business; everyone knows that. Since the killing of Kimber, the Shelby's have been growing fast. They quickly outgrew their offices as they took over from Kimber on the racing tracks.

Only a couple of days have passed since her arrival, and she hasn't put a foot outside of her office. She is, quite frankly, scared too.

Of course, there is a lot of work that has to be worried about, but she could just sign the papers like her father used to. No, Gia wants to be seen and heard of, but she still wants to be able to do the papers herself. She wants too much.

In New York, the family would walk on the streets and hear praise from the people and see smiles. Even though the people knew they were bad individuals, they knew they were protected because of them. Of course, there was a limit.

And that level of admiration is still a long way from where they are now. For that, she has to show her face, but to face the people, she'll have to face him.

She left him in a hurry without saying goodbye or being able to put her whereabouts on the letter. She would understand if he didn't want to see her, but Tommy is no ordinary man. He is feared, and she loves that. She loves the adrenaline that he gives her.

Gia isn't one to back down from a situation or be scared of one's reaction or action. But he loved her, and she loved him. Has she lost the little love she had gained in one night? She sighs out loud and leans back in her chair. There she is, yet again, thinking about him instead of her work.

The meeting has to be held in the Garrison because Polly doesn't have the time to go to the offices. She has, namely, found her long-lost son, Michael Grey. 18 years old, practically fresh out of the womb.

Polly wants to make up for the lost time. Everyone is obviously happy for her and doesn't find a problem with her spending less time in the office.

Polly walks into the newly restored Garrison to be met with her family. She doesn't want to involve their business with her son. He seems to have worked out great, even though he grew up in bad circumstances. She sits down at the golden bar and waves for them to begin.

"Right, the men are working on settling more business in London. Our horse has the most bets on him, and I have a meeting with Mr. Solomons planned in the agenda. Our ideas for the future are coming true. Are there any questions?" Tommy looks around.

Esme decides to speak up when she sees nobody else does. "I want my child to grow up in a safe environment. What the fuck is up with those Italians? I don't trust them around our kin." Esme spoke as though she were speaking for everyone. Which she probably is.

There it is. Tommy shakes his head slightly. They have been talking his ears off about them. He must agree that they aren't a pleasant surprise. They're here for more than just help, but he can't, for the life of him, find out why.

The part that hurts the most is because of the person with whom they are here. If she had kept her word, he would've welcomed her with open arms. In his eyes, she has betrayed him, and Tommy doesn't take well to betrayal.

He sighs and speaks up. "I'll ask around to see what's going on; don't worry about it. We're done here." He walks out of the Garrison this early morning and leaves to fetch his sister.

The poor woman just had her husband back but lost him to a cruel fever. He survived rallies and the war, yet it's a virus that took him. The funeral was cruel and real, just as he would've liked it to be.

While the ceremony finished on the other side of Birmingham, in small Heath, something else was coming to an end: the Garrison. Nobody saw how it happened, but everybody is standing in front of the house that's surrounded by high dancing flames.

Gia was informed of this and sent some men to find Tommy and tell him. By the time the men got to Tommy, half an hour had passed.

He's talking with his aunt when they hear a car arrive. Looking the Italian up and down, Tommy seems surprised to see the man running towards them.

"Mr. Shelby, your pub is burning." The man has difficulty speaking English. "Why would I believe you?" Tommy asks suspiciously. "I've been sent by the leader of the black hand, Giovanna Changretta." He answers, hoping it will be enough to convince him.

By the time he got to the pub, there was nothing left to save. While the first thing on his mind was what happened, in a position like Tommy's, you make a lot of enemies.

Not because you want it, but because you need it. This is a selfish job, and you have to make a lot of people unhappy; that's how it goes.

The thing on Polly's mind is, what has Gia to do with this? She knows that she doesn't even has to waste her breath asking about her to Tommy, because even he seems surprised. So she made a mental note to find her surroundings later.

While it quickly became evening, Tommy had run off to do his business. Polly took it as a green light to do as she pleased. She had men searching for Gia and found that she was easy to find.

Gia wants to be found. She wants people to be able to reach her; she wants him to be able to come to her.

Polly gets a car ride to Gia's office, which is an hour away. But when she arrives, she realizes that Gia's been waiting for her. How the hell she found out is a mystery to Polly. She does have a lot of men on the streets. The Italians are in deeper than Polly thought.

One look at the buildings, and you can tell they must've cost a fortune. She knew they had money, but never in her life would she have thought that they had this much. It shouldn't have come as a shock to her, though. She knew her father after all.

She is first met with men and even women who search her and eventually let her through. She has to give it to Gia; she is easy to find, but not just anyone can get into the buildings.

She walks up to a man sitting behind a desk and asks, "Where can I find Gia?" The man looks up at her and says, "Miss Changretta is waiting on you on the second floor. In the room with the double black doors." He shows her the way.

She does exactly as the man said and is suddenly met with a double door. She can hear through the door the sound of a pen writing on paper. Quiet aggressively, it seems. Before she could listen further, she hears Gia say, "You can come in." As the sound abruptly stops.

She turns the doorknob and is met with Gia behind her desk. The look on Gia's face is one of weariness.

"Hello Gia." She voices out loud.
