Gia was sat next to Tommy in the front of the car. Birmingham was two hours away from London because Arthur wasn't in a stable condition Gia suggested that they'd rest at her office. Banbury was namely only an hour away. Once they arrived in front of the big buildings they didn't waste their time and directly stepped out of the car.
The height of the building they entered was impressionable. Gia was leading the group inside of the building. At first, they got weird looks, but once the people saw who the intruders were they jumped up to help them. Tommy heard Gia yell "Voi, listen the fuck up. I need this man to be taken care of as if he's the fucking king. Capisce?" The first man who held Arthur over his arm responded "e 'inteso, don."
Gia straightened her back and sighed as she saw Arthur being lifted away. Tommy saw two men walk up to her. They must be important, Tommy thought because when he came closer to her she held his arm, and looked the way his brother went. He started walking down the hallway and when he turned around he saw her leading the men in another room.
She opened the doors that lead to her bureau and sat down in her chair. "Right, what did Angel have to say?" She asked the narrators. One man took off his fedora and looked at the other man stressed. Carmelo, one of the men and her cousin cleared his voice "Gia, you've got to understand he had to choose between his two siblings-" She cut him short "Cut the bullshit."
"He's in New York. He arrived yesterday, before the incident. I'm sorry." He told her. "Don't be. Now, Carmelo, the choice is up to you. Are you going back to New York or are you staying?" She questioned him as she repositioned herself on her chair. "We all know you are the brains behind the operation. Me and I know other men who will too always follow your words." He explained.
"Goodman. I'll need you to go back to New York tho but first tell me what you know." Gia was finishing her deal while Tommy was on the other side of the building with a cigarette in his mouth. Once her cousin knew what to do and stood to leave she voiced "Oh Carmelo, betray me, and I'll cut your throat myself." He gulped and nodded.
She finally had a moment to herself when she heard knocking on her door. "Yes?" She sighed as she massaged the side of her head. A head came peaking through it was the doctor. "Ah Mr Pattinson, come in." She voiced as she stood. flattening the wrinkles on her dress she waited till the doctor was in front of her. "Tell me, how's your patient?" She asked as she shook his hand. She sat down herself.
The doctor took place on the chair in front of her and started speaking "He's the worst case I've seen on getting a beating." He told her. "Who told you he's been beaten?" She asked "No one, I just assumed." He answered. "Well, don't." She said. "Right, well might I ask what happened then?" He questioned her this time. "You might not." She answered shortly.
"I would advice for him to go to a hospital." He explained to her. Gia sighed loudly and remarked, "Mr Pattinson if we could go to a hospital do you think we would've called you?" He shook his head no as an answer. "Now that we're on the same page. The only thing I have to know is if he's stable enough to go to Birmingham?" She asked him.
"Not if he isn't under medical observation." He answered. "Then you'll need to go with us, Mr Pattinson." She ordered him. "I can't, I have other patients." He stated. "You'll get paid double." She offered him. He stood up and took out his hand for her to shake. He turned around to leave her bureau, but she stopped him.
"Could you send in the man who's waiting outside? Grazie." She sat back down. A soldier of her almost directly came inside. "Ah Gino, sit down will ya." The man sat down in front of her. "So I heard you wanted to tell me something." She put her hands on each other as she looked over at the man. "Gia, you're my cousin, and I hold you dear, but I don't fucking agree with the Shelby's." He explained.
"Why don't ya?" She asked. "You don't know? Tommy made a deal yesterday with the fucking Jews. We've been at war with them for months, and now he's going to help them." He explained. "I did know." She lied " But that's Angel's problem, not ours. You shouldn't worry." She explained as she stood up and left the bureau.
She walked straight to the room Tommy got led to. Gia wasn't mad, but she questioned why he wouldn't have told her. She slowly opened the door to see Tommy read the paper. He looked over his page, when saw who stood in the door frame he slowly folded the paper and looked at Gia.
She slowly walked over to him and sat down next to him. Tommy observed every move she made. She looked at poor Arthur was been taken care of in a bed. "Once you take some rest we will leave for Birmingham." She announced while looking at him. Tommy was fixated on his brother.
"I'll rest in my next life." He told her. "You met Mr Solomons." She started. "I did." He confirmed. "Why didn't you tell me?" She questioned him. "Some things are better left unspoken." He recalled as he looked her in the eye. "You are a stubborn man I hope you know that." She slightly smiled. "It keeps me up at night." He answered with a small smile.
In the early morning, they arrived in Birmingham. Arthur had woken up during the travel and was already standing which the doctor said was a miracle. Because it was so soon in the morning nobody was to be found in the betting den. Tommy decided to show Gia around. They walked into the room and he started putting on some candles. She undid her vest and placed it on a chair.
"We've got a new place, but everyone still comes here." He explained proudly. He opened the door to his bureau went to get a drink. She leaned against his bureau and watched him come closer with whiskey in his hand. She asked herself how things ever could've come down to this moment.
"I've got a surprise for you." he told her as he looked down at her. He had placed his whiskey next to her and put his hands on her hips. She had placed her hands on his underarms and raised her eyebrows. "You do?" She questioned surprised. "Mhm." He kissed her. "A big one." He kissed her again. "But" He kissed her again. "It's." He kissed her again with a smile on his face as she started laughing. "For." He kissed her. "later." He kissed her passionately.
He had her and didn't want to let her go. He lifted her up on the surface. Her hands went to his cravat and loosened it. He laid her down on his bureau which made his glass fall and the two adults laugh. They looked each other in the eye with the biggest smile on their face.
He kissed her mouth then lowered to her neck. From her neck, he left small but strong kisses on her chest. While he kissed her he undressed her. With her head tilted backwards and eyes shut she was feeling her body react to his touch. She only had her underwear on as he placed a kiss above her panties.
With one quick move, he removed her panties. The warmth of his lips matched the warmth of her thigh. Her moans were to be heard outside of his office. His hand snaked up to her breast which made her enjoy him even more. He left a trail of kisses up to her mouth and kissed her.He aligned himself with her entrance and made eye contact before slowly pushing himself inside of her. She put herself on her elbows and kissed him. After the kiss, they both put their slightly sweaty heads against each other.
She felt the nod in her lower stomach form as did he. He pushed two more times into her before she found her release, he found his release just after. Still, out of breath he kissed her forehead and pulled himself out of her.
In that very moment they had all they needed.
