Pacing around her living room, Gia feels as if she's losing her breath. The bad news keeps on coming in. At one point, a maid asked her if she wanted to sit down, which she reclined.

Her two men who were undercover in Luca's organisation were found strangled in a ditch, to only start with the bad news..

Within an hour, since the first men were sent parading on the streets, the location of Mr Campbell was found.

He's staying at a whore house not far from Birmingham, which makes Gia question what the man is up to.

She knows he has a bad relationship with the city. If he could, he would never place foot there again.

As the clock hits five pm, she opens her front door. With no protection but that of a gun, she's on her way, a plan preparing itself foot by foot.

For any protestant, he's worse than the devil himself. But she has seen the devil himself before, and he doesn't have his smile nor dangerous glint in the eyes.

After only ten minutes of driving, she stops in front of the whore house. Gia opens her gun to see the glint of the six bullets smiling right back at her.

Proudly she steps out of her car and walks to the door. The woman who opens the door seems to be around forty and has a questionably look in her eyes.

She opens her mouth but fastly stops herself from saying something when she sees the gun Gia has taken out and put in front of her lips "Sshhhh."

The woman understands directly and wises to the stairs with her bony trembling finger. Gia walks right past her as if she isn't even standing there.

One step after another, she slowly walks up the stairs making sure none of the steps make a noise. The light that shines from under one door catches her attention. Slowly but surely does she make her way over.

And as if he can see her through the door, he narrows his view on it. Gia looks at the two doors on each side of her that and hears the sounds of pleasure.

He turns his head back to reading his papers, when he suddenly he hears three odious knocks on the door. Before he can even stand she opens the door.

"What a pleasant surprise." He acts his suprising thoughts off. Sinds the last time she saw him he haz become greyer and more cunning.

"It isn't." Gia scoffs as he sits back down. "Brave woman to come here alone." He notes as he starts reading again. "I'm not afraid to stand here alone. I just came to talk" She states as she sits down on a chair near the door.

"You know, it's funny. All I have been hearing is watch out for Giovanna Changretta. To what I have to say, why be scared of a dog that barks but can't bite." He explains, keeping his eyes on his paper.

"Funny. Funny, indeed. Do you want to hear something funny too? huh? What if I tell ya, that about half an hour ago, in Belgravia, Field Marshall Russell's house has been burned down by an incendiary device put through his mailbox." She laughs out loud.

"Why aren't you laughing? Isn't that funny?" He looks up at her to see if she's being serious. To his bad luck, she is. "So, now that the target isn't going to be home for at least three months, we are going change the plan according to my rules." She stands up and looks him right in the eyes.

When he's still searching for words to answer her, she takes the chance and goes on, "When the cat's away, the mice play. Isn't it right? You waited until Tommy was gone to come over and take Michael and Arthur to prison. It's pitiful."

"Do you think it's all going to go upwards for you from now on? All I have to do is snip my fingers, and they're out again." She checks her watch and tells him, "Matter of fact, at five-thirty they're out."

"Ah, you bastard." He gets up and starts collecting his stuff. She walks closer to him until he has no choice but to look her back in the eye "I'll keep you posted on my plans."

He scoffs and says, "You think Mr Churchill will listen to a heathen like you? You're pregnant of a bastard, not married and handling a man's world. I won't fight you in anyway. I don't want to even look at you."

With a smile on her face, she tells him, "Do you mean the head of the CBE company's, a CBE herself and part of the richest American family in history? If that's the only thing that can make you scared of me. I think you're in deep shit, Mr Campbell."

He scoffs and tells her off "You're from America, you can't behold the title of CBE." She laughs at the fact that, that's the only thing he remembered. The longer their conversation lasts, the bigger the smile on Gia's face gets.

"Any British national can receive a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire title. Thanks to my great-grandmother I can, soldier." She mocks his absence in the war. Once, he gets everything he needs, he leaves the room in a hurry.

She holds her word, cause at exactly five and a half, all restrictions were taken back against Arthur and Michael. The free men walked out after less than five minutes since they went to get them from their cells. As both were released a car waits for them in front of the prison's doors.

The men start walking when they hear someone whistle. The driver sticks his head out of the window and yells, "You're to be brought home under the order of Giovanna Changretta."

They look at each other and slowly make their way to the car. Gia can be a big secret. She astonishes people on the time's they least expected it, leaving her mark in ways she used to have nightmares about.

Later, the Shelby family is in deep conversation when both Arthur and Michael walk through the door into the betting den. Polly blinks twice to be sure she is seeing everything right or if the smoke of Tommy's cigarette got in her eyes.

Her hands fly to her mouth as she runs over to her son. John gets up and greets his brother by patting him on the back.

Polly broke the embrace by saying, "How did you get out?" He looks over at Arthur who says, "Apparently, we were let free under the order of Giovanna Changretta." He smiles wildly as he puts his arm on the shoulder of a sitting Tommy.

He wants to turn around and ask if his brother is sure, just like the rest of his family, but he's interrupted by the sound of a boy yelling, "Madrina, finally."

The doors that connect the betting room to the kitchen are still open and show Rocco hugging Gia. As she smiles at Rocco, who is hugging her growing stomach, she looks up. A happy family is right in front of her and she can't keep herself from feeling slightly jealous.

The first one to say something is Michael, against her better judgement of the kid, who goes over to hug and thank her.

As the family slowly starts to plan what's going to happen, Tommy doesn't say a word. His eyes are fixed on Gia, who is also keeping silent. He doesn't like the feeling of not being in control and dislikes the feeling of her alone out making a deal, even less.

She is aware of the feeling his eyes leave on her, it gives an adrenaline jump just like the first time they met.

When she looks up, she sees that this look is different. His eyes will always be dreamy, but this time instead of mixed with lust, they are mixed with disappointment.

In who exactly she can't tell.
