All she remembers is waking up in her bed in Tommy's arms. She heard him come home late the night before but didn't pay it any mind. Her body hurt from pain, grief and regret. All she wanted to do was sleep. She looks up from Tommy's chest to see that he was still asleep. The sun shining on his face was an indication that she had to start her day.

Sleeping this late isn't usual for Tommy. He is normally the one that wakes up before anyone in the house. But the peaceful grin on his face made her rethink the decision of waking him up. She knows that he doesn't like waking up late. He rather does all of his business in the silence of the house.

She looks over his facial expression and goes to caress his face. "Are you checking me out?" He questions. With a smile, she answers, "I am always checking you out." She leans on her elbows and gives him a soft kiss on his lips. He slowly opens his eyes when he can't feel her touch any longer. She slowly gets out of bed and puts her silk bathrobe on.

The house was silent as she made her way to her son's bedroom. She opens the door and expects to see the same blue eyes she wakes up to every day. She walks closer to his crib, but it is empty. Stress takes over her, and she starts to look everywhere in his room. "Elijah?" She voices loud and clear.

She opens the door that leads to the hallway and runs back to her bedroom. Her black bathrobe opens to show her night clothing. Tommy is sitting on the bed with his head in his hands, looking up as he hears the door open. He stands up and runs over to her the second he sees her distressed face. His hands fly to her face as he asks, "What's wrong?" Panic stirred in his voice.

"Elijah. I can't find him." Her voice trembles from the stress. His eyes dart to the hallway. He doesn't waste one minute as he goes into the hallway. "Elijah?" He yells in the silent house. The coldness of the house hits his bare torso as he starts running down the stairs. Gia goes to every room on their level of the house. When she doesn't find any sign of life she goes down the stairs and searches, "Tommy?"

She hears some shuffling on the porch and runs over to it. Tommy's eyes stare at something. She follows his gaze and ends on her son giggling. A tall woman is throwing him in the air with a smile on her face. Gia looks back up to Tommy in confusion. Her hands go on his shoulder. "I'll take care of it. Go rest." He suggests as he starts making his way barefoot on the grass.

She had seen this woman before when she left Tommy's office once. She never heard her name, but the woman had a thick Russian accent when she smiled and politely said hello to Gia. Looking back at the diamonds she was wearing, Gia was sure she had some sort of importance. Also, the way she carried herself was graceful. Gia didn't like her one bit. But right now, all she cares about is her son who seems fine.

She makes her way up to Tommy who is only a couple of meters away from her. She starts walking by his side but soon stops when she feels his hand on her wrist. His husky voice usually sounds as sweet as honey to her, but right now all she wants to do is grab her son. "Trust me, you don't want to know who she is." His morning voice sounds rough.

"This puta is holding my son. I don't care who she is." She points to the woman who was now looking at the couple. Tommy follows her finger and looks at the woman who has a disgusting smile on her face. He doesn't want Gia to even be named in the mouths of these people. He hates the Russians because they're strong where he isn't yet.

She might hate him for not letting her meet Tatiana, but it is in her best interest. Tatiana Petrovna is a Russian princess who's in London with her aunt and uncle. She's everything a man could dream off. She's young, elegant, and beautiful she gets everything her heart desires. Yet, Tommy hates every little asset of her.

He sighs, "You trust me, right?" He checks. "Till my last breath." She nods. "I know we promised to be truly honest with each other. Whether it is business or other shit. That's important to me, but what's more important to me is peace in our household-" He is cut short by a now slightly angry Gia "I do not care right now about your fucking business, Thomas. All I want is my son." She starts to walk toward the woman.

He takes her wrist back in his hand "Ok, ok." He nods in understanding. It's 100% normal for a parent to be territorial over their child, but these are people you don't want to make angry. "You stay beside me, and stay polite. I know this is fucked up, but I need you to keep it together." He kisses her forehead once he's sure the information gets through to her.

Hand in hand they walk toward Tatiana. The woman takes Elijah's hand to wave toward his parents with a smile on her face. Tommy felts Gia's hand taking a stronger grip on his hand. He looks down to see a bland face staring at the woman. He's sure that one wrong move by the princess and Gia would actually shoot her head off.

Once Gia is close enough to her son she lets go of Tommy's hand. She trods towards her son who's keeping his arms open for his mother to take him. She takes him out of her hands and hugs him. She doesn't even give the woman a look. She looks down at her son's face and it lights even more up.

Tommy's hand meets the small of her back making her lookup. He's making sure his son is okay before focusing on her face. He looks in her eyes and then trails down to her lips. His eyes then dart to the woman in front of them. "I'm sorry I came unannounced" Her Russian voice sounds strong. This made Gia look her in the eye for the first time.

"You must be Gia?" She extends her hand elegantly. Gia looks down at her hand, and takes a long time before shaking it, remembering Tommy's words. "Actually, it's Giovanna." She corrects her. The woman smiles, "I heard great things about you, Giovanna." Gia hums, "I would like to say the same, but I have no idea who you are." Gia smiles back.

"Care to introduce me?" She asks Tommy. He sighs before looking down at Gia. "This is Tatiana Petrovna. Russian princess. What do you want?" He asks unamused. "We need proof. You said the priest is a traitor. We need to know how you know." She keeps looking at him. "Your proof is my word." Tommy doesn't seem to want to elaborate.

She seems to understand as she looks at Gia and then back at Tommy. "Could we talk about this over a glass of anything you have in the house?" She asks. "No." Both heads look down at Gia. The Woman seems taken back. "Don't worry about my wife." He starts but Tatiana shakes it off. "No, it's okay. We will talk about this over dinner tomorrow evening."

"We won't be able to come." Gia keeps up with the short sentences. She then elaborates, "We will be having dinner with friends of ours. This will need to be postponed to next week. Oh, wait we can't then either. We'll have to see for another time." Gia keeps her hand on Tommy's underarm while talking.

The woman has a hard time putting her soft exterior back on with a grinning Gia in front of her. "I'm sure your maid will help me find my way back." She looks back at Tommy. "I'm sure she will." Gia voices while putting her son on her hip. Tatiana makes her way toward the porch. She feels Tommy staring at her so she looks up "What?" She questions. "Are you jealous, Mrs Shelby?" He grins while putting a hand around her waist and his son's back.
