The last rays of the spring sunshine shine through the window as Gia is touching up her red velvet lipstick. Her attention is taken away from the mirror in front of her and is directed at the wooden door from her bedroom that opens.

Eleonor pops her head around the door and looks at Gia who smiles back at the timid woman. "We will be going now." She informs Gia with Elijah on her hip. Gia stands up and makes her way towards her son. "Oh, come here baby." She takes him in her arms.

"I'm sorry I have to leave you my little stellina." She kisses his cheek. Gia gives him back to Eleonor and asks, "Is Rocco ready?" Eleonor looks back up from the little boy with a lifted brow, "Tommy said that he was going to stay. He's getting ready for dinner right now. Do you want me to tell him that's not the case?"

"No, thank you. You should go now. Polly will be waiting for you guys." Irina makes her way out of the bedroom with Eleonor. "Of course, see you later Gia." The woman smiles at Gia and makes her way out of the corridor.

Gia doesn't waste her time and goes to search for her husband. It doesn't take a long time before she finds him in his office. She admires him through the open door. He sits in the same place during the whole day doing things he would never dare talk about.

"You know, in most marriages, the couple talks to each other before they make decisions." She gets his attention. He drops his paper on the table and looks back at her as if she just fell out of heaven. "Yeah, I know, darling." He sighs and makes his way up to her.

He caresses her jaw as his ice-blue eyes stare into her green ones. "You look mesmerizing." He observes her very being. She takes his hand into hers, "I'm serious, Tommy. It's not the first time things like this have happened. I'm your wife, you should talk to me about things. Like these Russians, I know you have business with them, but about what?"

He sighs and caresses the back of her hand with his thumb, "I am in touch with the Crown-" She drops his hand and cuts him short, "God, Tommy, the king?" He takes her hands back in his and holds them close to his chest, "What I'm doing with the crown doesn't matter, Gia. It's because of the crown that I got in touch with the Russians. I've just got to deal with dinner and some vehicles that I've got to prepare for them, that's all."

She looks down at their hands in question, and then back up at him. She asks firmly, "You promise me that's all?" He brings her right hand up to his mouth and places a kiss on her ring. "I promise. I don't want to deal with these Russians as much as you don't want to deal with them. They're dangerous and drunk on stuff we've never even heard of. So, let me just finish this dinner, and then everything will go back to normal again."

He kisses her forehead and closes his eyes as he thinks of his erratic promise. He looks down at her hazy green eyes, he goes to speak but is interrupted by a maid knocking on the open door. "Excuse me Mr and Mrs Shelby, but your invitees have arrived."

"Thank you, Mary. Tell them we will be there in a minute." He nods back at her. He looks back down at his wife and explains, "I know you like to do the talking, but this time let me do it." Gia rolls her eyes and turns around to go to the invites. She is stopped in her way by Tommy whose hand is around her wrist.

She turns around and sees a small smile on his lips. She falls against his chest with a jerk on her arm. She tries her best to keep her smile back but is taken by surprise when his plumb lips kiss her soft ones. Their laughs become one as they both have to laugh at the sudden change of attitude.
