They drove for half an hour to stop at a pleasing arrow house. Before Tommy drove on the road pavement he turned to face Gia and ordered her "Close your eyes." With only half a champagne glass in her stomach, Gia found the provocation very exciting. Gia started giggling as she slowly but surely put her little hands before her eyes. Tommy would have a hard time containing his smile if his mind weren't occupied by Polly's information.

She stumbled out of the car with her closed eyes as Tommy tried to assist her with his hand. "Just a couple more steps." He informed her as she stumbled yet again. He looked at the house once more as if he was asking for reassurance. He looked down next to him to see an inpatient Gia giggling and smiling. He lifted his hand and took her hands off her face.

Her smile fell as she was blown away by the height of the house. She creased her head in an unnatural form to look at the very top of the house. Tommy would be lying if he said he wasn't nervous. She looked at him with a questioning look in her eyes. He had hoped he didn't have to explain anything. "The ballroom is big, great for party's or inviting people. There are eight bedrooms and people at... our service. If you need help with anything there paid to help ya-" He explained to her.

She shut him short by questioning "Tommy, what are you expecting from me?" He finally took a look at her and was surprised by her facial expressions. He expected her to look taken aback, but to his surprise, she looked as if she was stroked by unexpected luck. He still didn't have the words so he threw away his cigarette and took out of his pocket the most beautiful ring Gia had ever seen.

At first, Gia thought she had misread the signs but turns out she was able to read the signs Tommy gave out. It seemed almost impossible to read a man like Thomas Shelby, but somehow Gia was doing a great job at it. She looked at the emerald green ring and then back at those ocean blue eyes.

"Polly gave it to John for his first wife, and he gave it to me for you. It was my mother's. Polly told me about the child but I had this in mind for quite a while already." He explained to her. Gia's silky hand touched Tommy's rough face. She smiled as if she hadn't smiled in years. She stood on her tips and kissed the man she loved.

As she slightly backed away from the kiss, she couldn't hold in her glee. "I love you, Tommy Shelby." She exclaimed. The smile Tommy has been holding in broke lose. He finally had everything he truly wanted. He put his arms around his now fiancés waist and lifted her up.

The morning after she woke up bare and wrapped in Tommy's sheets. She closed her black silky bathrobe close to her core. As she walked by the mirror she got to a stop. She turned around and did a big step to stand back in front of the mirror. She looked ahead and didn't see a change, but when she turned to the side she saw that the lower part of her stomach had grown.

She put her hand on her lower stomach and slightly smiled. She heard the wooden floor creak and turned her head fastly around. She saw Tommy observing her every move. She smiled and walked up to him. She put her hands around his neck and asked "Where have you been?" with a smile. "Working." He answered as he put his hands around her waist.

She kissed him and walked further into the hallway to the kitchen. She saw Marry, their head maid. "Hi, Marry." Gia smiled at the woman as she went to get the bread. "Good morning, miss Changretta." She greeted back. "Oh, please call me Gia, honey." She put her hand on the maid's arm. The woman nodded and went on with peeling potatoes.

"Might I ask you something, Gia?" She questioned. "Mhm, go ahead." Gia got out as she chewed on the piece of bread she had just taken. "Are you pregnant?" She asked. "I am indeed." Gia bowed her head. The woman stood up and walked over to Gia. She placed her hand on her lower stomach and explained "Carrying low means it's a boy." She smiled as she walked back to her place.

Gia walked away from the weird meeting and went to get dressed. As she got dressed into her dress she couldn't unsee the bump that was there. As she growled out in frustration, Tommy came in. "What's wrong? I can hear you sigh to the other side of the hallway." He asked as he walked up to her and placed his hand on her hip. "It's too obvious." She answered as she looked back in the mirror.

Tommy couldn't hold his smile to himself as he ensured her "You look beautiful. Would it be so terrible that everyone knew you were mine?" She sighed and looked up at him "I guess not." He placed a kiss on top of her head. "I have to run to the Garrison for some meetings with people." He told her as he went to search for his vest. Gia put on her heels as she informed him "I'm going to get into different clothes." She looked down over what she was wearing and went to get her vest.

"I have a meeting today with Carmelo. He's going to be the key to the future." She explained with full attention from Tommy. He went over to her and kissed her "Be safe." She told him. "You too." He disappeared into the darkness of the hallway. Gia looked around and realised how much this house had the same air as her childhood home.

Once every child had hit the age of adulthood they would transfer from their charming house to their big-city house in New York. As the youngest child Gia was transferred way sooner than her brothers. She adored this house so much because of the similarity with the one in New York. She loved the way you could hear the footsteps on the wooden floor, the high ceilings, and the smell of the fireplace.

Tommy had ordered a driver to get her home. Once she was clothed in more breathable clothing she walked out of her house to see the man still sitting in his car. She sighed and walked the length of her driveway off. She knocked on the car to get his attention "What's your name?" She questioned him. "Gabriele." He answered her. As a woman, Gia didn't receive the bad looks either Tommy or her brother's got here in Birmingham. The man went on to smoke his cigarette and didn't seem faced at all with the look on Gia's face.

"Well, Gabrielle, I would advise you to run to a place far away from here. Run as hard and as far as you can, and if you dare to turn your head around to look where I am stood. Be sure that as you look back on the road I'll be standing right in front of you. I'll look you in the eye before I'll stab you with this exact knife and leave you to bleed out with my face as the last thing you'll remember." She threatened him.

The man started the car, but Gia stopped him. "No, bud, I said run." She opened the car door, and the man went off running. He ran as fast as he could almost like he saw the devil in flesh and blood.
