SNOW AND COLD was the first thing Diana's fingers felt as she continued backing away from the door of the wardrobe. A yelp of surprise was heard beside her, which meant that Lucy had felt it too.

Diana turned around along with Lucy and they were both surprised and speechless at the sight before them. Trees covered in snow like a white blanket surrounded them, tiny snowflakes planting themselves on their clothes.

Diana and Lucy kept on walking forward, one catching snow in her hands while the other tried to wake herself up from this dream. But the cold crawling it's way towards Diana's body told her it was completely real.

They walked through the snow covered forest until Diana caught eye of a warm light in the center of a small area without trees. It was a simple lamppost. Lucy caught her sister's eye and frowned in a silent way of asking 'why is this here?'

The rustling of the trees and dried leaves alerted both of them, causing Diana to hide Lucy behind her as the sound of hoofbeats approached them.

Diana and Lucy screamed out of fear when they spotted a strange creature approaching them, making the creature yell too and drop whatever he was holding.

Lucy hid behind Diana while the creature covered himself behind a tree, it seemed that he was more afraid of them than the other way around.

Lucy earned the courage to step away from Diana's form and start walking closely to the tree where the creature was hiding. Diana didn't hesitate to follow on Lucy's steps.

The creature peaked off the tree, and Diana finally got a better look on him. He had curly brown hair and peculiar ears, a strange beard covering his chin. He was wearing a pink scarf and he didn't have a shirt on, but the weirdest thing was his furry legs.

Lucy picked one of the fallen belongings of the creature and he stepped away from the tree slowly, stammering up words.

"Were you hiding from us?" Lucy asked carefully.

The creature took away the box from Lucy's grip. "No. Well. . .I just. . .I. . .No. No. I just. . .I didn't want to scare either of you."

Lucy chuckled.

"If you don't mind me asking. . .What are you?" Diana continued.

"We'll, I'm a. . .well, I'm a faun," he replied. "And what about you? You must be some kind of beardless dwarves?"

"We're not dwarves! We are girls!" Lucy said. "And, actually, I'm tallest in my class."
