DIANA AND LUCY sat on the saddle of the horse they'll be using to enter and run through the forest to execute their part of the plan. While both girls were ready to part, Caspian had offered help in preparing the journey, since the black horse they were taking was his own.
"Destrier has always served me well," Caspian said. "You are in good hands."
"Or hooves," Lucy smiled.
Caspian returned the gesture before his eyes fell on Diana, who was the one holding the reins. She adjusted on her seat and looked down at the man before her as she offered a smile of her own.
"You know, you truly fit the 'Prince Charming' stereotype that I always had in mind," Diana remarked.
He seemed perplexed. "'Prince Charming'? I hope that's a compliment."
"It is," Diana reassured, and she ignored the strange look her young sister was giving her. "It's from some well known books back where I come from."
"After this, I hope you get to show me one."
"I'm counting on it," she smirked.
Diana pulled on the reins and the Destrier the horse followed the order instantly, pulling the sisters and running into the hollow and empty halls of Aslan's How to lead them outside as Caspian watched them leave his range of sight.
"'Prince Charming stereotype?'" Lucy questioned incredulously as they rode through the tunnels.
"Oh, shut up!"

THE SISTERS RODE with speed over the thick and suspiciously quiet forest, the only sound they were able to detect being the sound of their own horse's hooves hitting against the dirt. Lucy held tightly onto Diana's waist, scared of falling off but her grip only got worse when she spotted something over them.
"Ride!" a man yelled, approaching them.
"They've seen us!" Lucy announced with worry.
Diana didn't dare to look back as she increased the speed and tried to leave them behind, running through deeper into the forest. Destrier the horse didn't complain, the only sound coming from him being a normal neigh as they ran.
When she realized that they were far away from where they stood, Diana stopped the horse and jumped down from the saddle as she held on to the fabric of her sister's dress.
"You'll have to take the reins," she said.
"What are you doing?" Lucy asked.
Diana sighed. "Sorry, Lu. It seems that you'll be going alone nonetheless."
Diana placed her hand on the back of the horse and signaled it to keep moving, carrying Lucy on his back as they both rode away from where she stood, holding a knife in her hand while the other was free, preparing to cast an enchantment.
Diana was patient. She waited for the familiar sound of the hooves smacking against the dirt to get inside her ears when it suddenly came, spotting more than one man riding their horses up to her, swords in hand.
Diana didn't hesitate to raise her palm into the first man's direction. "Duratus!"
The man in the horse collapsed in the dirt, incapable of moving any muscle in his body. Diana turned her attention on the approaching men.
"Tormentum!"
The soldier fell back from the horse's saddle as he twisted in the ground in pain, it still was still shocking the power the spell had, but Diana didn't care at that moment.
"Imperium plantae!"
Diana saw how the branches and the vines surrounding her made their way towards the man in horseback, wrapping itself around the man's arms and legs before pulling him off into the air and dangle him upside down.
It was going well and Diana almost dropped her guard, but the loud battle cry coming towards her alerted her senses. She was able to duck out of the blade's way, but she was knocked down to the ground by the horse the same man was using. Diana got her hands ready, and the man held the sword in front of him before a familiar yell broke into the forest and the man quickly changed his attention towards the sound.
No other than Caspian himself rode on the back of a brown-colored horse, his own sword in hand. He didn't bat an eye as he sliced the blade through the soldier's chest, making him scream in pain and fall down his horse.
Caspian moved to where Diana sat on the dirt with a surprised and proud look, extending his hand with a smirk on his face. "Do you need your Prince Charming to come and rescue you now?"
Diana scoffed but a smile made its way into her features either way. "I knew your ego would go through the clouds for that phrase."
"I'm honored you know me so well," Caspian teased.
Diana took his hand and he gently pulled her up into the empty space of the saddle, which was behind him, while Caspian moved the reins to make the horse run once again.
