CHEERS FROM THE crowds were heard all around the once abandoned castle, the people celebrating the coronation of their newest king and watching from the sidelines how newly crowned Caspian rode his horse through the yelling crowd, who threw colorful paper strips into the air for celebration.
The Pevensies were following behind Caspian on their own horses, having Diana lead the five of them as she waved to the people and smiled brightly at the people's joy, her loose brown hair framing her face perfectly as it softly blew back from the wind. Her dress was a beautiful teal color with golden designs all around, her sleeves ending down her wrists.
Everything around her was so full of joy, that it made Diana have a twisting sense of guilt when she remembered that this was all temporary. She and her siblings couldn't stay here forever, much to her dismay, especially when she, Peter and Susan were called off by Aslan to have a private talk; telling her the news she was trying too hard to avoid.
After an entire day of celebrating the new and united kingdom, Aslan had gathered the entire people to one huge meeting, where him, Caspian and the Pevensie's all stood at the front along with Trumpkin, all giving their back to the enormous tree behind them.
"Narnia belongs to the Narnians, just as it does to man," Caspian spoke up loudly. "Any Telmarines who want to stay and live in peace are welcome to. But for any of you who wish, Aslan will return you to the home of our forefathers."
"It's been generations since we left Telmar," one man said from the crowd, earning a few nods of agreement.
"We're not referring to Telmar," Aslan interfered, his voice calm. "Your ancestors were seafaring brigands. Pirates run aground on an island. There they found a cave, a rare chasm that brought them here from their world. The same world as our kings and queens."
Diana exchanged a confused glance with Peter as Lucy, Edmund and Susan frowned at the lion's words, hearing the people chatter amongst themselves at the revelation.
"It is to that island I can return you," Aslan continued. "It is a good place for any who wish to make a new start."
The crowd shared glances and the talk grew louder until another voice spoke up, quieting everyone around as he made himself known and everyone's attention turned to him.
"I'll go," Glozelle said. "I will accept the offer."
People made their way for him to step through, walking towards Aslan after he received a nod of approval from Caspian. Glozelle held his head high proudly and Prunaprismia, who was holding her baby close to her chest decided to speak up.
