jeongguk sighed as he kept staring at his phone. he's been staring at taehyung's number for ten minutes straight now.
after what happened earlier, taehyung's been looking so down. he doesn't know why but he's worried for the boy. maybe he really do consider taehyung as his new friend already.
jeongguk watched with a frown as taehyung left the classroom.
"what's wrong with taehyung?" he asked, looking at their classmates.
the group who gossiped about taehyung looked at him. "jeon, isn't it obvious? he made your brother a friend so he can get money from him. we all know how rich your family is." yeoun said.
jeongguk cocked an eyebrow, staring at the guy. "how can you be so sure? do you know taehyung that much to accuse him with such things?"
"but jeongguk-ssi, do you know taehyung that much as well?" a girl asked.
the ravenette turns to look at the girl. "i don't, but i'm sure as hell that taehyung will never do something like that. you guys really never learn, huh? why do you always make up stories about students who you found weak? underrated?"
jeongguk stared at them who are now looking away but yeoun is still staring at him. "don't tell me you care for that taehyung guy?"
"and, if i am? got a problem about it?" jeongguk glared at him.
"hey, stop. don't create a fight. we apologize for talking behind his back, jeongguk-ssi."
"what the fuck hani? we didn't do anything to apologize." yeoun looks at her.
"your stupid mindset accused taehyung of using jimin for his money." jeongguk shoots another glare to the yeoun.
yeoun smirked and crossed his arms. "we just stated facts, jeon."
"facts your ass. in which part are the facts in there?" jeongguk mentally clenched his fists.
"that taehyung is using jimin."
"may i have a proof then? you can't show any? then it's clearly a false shit."
yeoun stands up and ready to attack jeongguk but the two girls managed to hold his arms.
"come at me, jeon."
"look at this fucktard. you got triggered, eh?" jeongguk chuckled and grinned at him.
hani sighed and looks up at the tall male that she's holding. "yeoun, calm down please. let's not create a mess."
"jeon, tell me, are you gay? do you like that guy? hah. you probably do cause you never defended anyone before. disgusting."
jeongguk stood up and immediately landed a hard punch on yeoun's face. "being gay isn't disgusting, your mindset is. you homophobic fuck." he spat out before grabbing his bag and walks away from the place.
"what's wrong gguk? you're still thinking about the fight?" namjoon asked beside him.
the ravenette turns his phone off and runs his fingers through his hair. "i'm just worried about taehyung."
"jimin texted me. he said he's with taehyung." hoseok said, looking at the younger.
"glad." jeongguk mumbled, staring at the food in front of him.
out of the blue, jimin came to their table with someone. "hey, did you guys bought snacks for us already?"
jeongguk looks up to see taehyung staring at him while standing beside jimin.
the brunette's eyes went wide and he immediately looks away.
the older furrowed his brows.
was he looking at me?
"here, taehyung." jeongguk said and patted the empty chair beside him.
jimin smirked and pushed taehyung but in a gentle way towards the chair. "take care of him, gguk."
jeongguk looks at the blonde in confusion but shrugged it off, feeling taehyung's presence beside him.
"that's taehyung?" hoseok asked, staring at the flustered brunette.
jimin sat down beside hoseok and grinned. "yes. my very handsome and kind friend, kim taehyung."
taehyung blushed at how jimin introduced him and gave them a smile. "n-nice to meet you."
"hi! i'm hoseok."
"the name's namjoon."
hoseok smiles at the brunette. "we heard what happened. are you okay now?"
the youngest nodded. softly. "i am. t-thanks for asking."
"we're glad. we'll make sure that those students will be suspended, don't worry." namjoon assured him.
taehyung looks at the older male. "b-but it's okay-"
