Allison is once again deep in thought as she wait for the man to arrive in their agreed place and time, he is not yet late, it’s just that she decided to come early so she will still have time to re-think, because in all honesty, she is still not sure if she can do this or not. She is certain that this is the right thing to do, but she is not yet ready, and she thinks she will never be ready, ever! All this time she had been telling herself that Gunner will never have a place in her son’s life. But here she is, waiting for Gideon’s father so they can strategize on telling Gideon his true connection with Gunner, and this is not an easy task for her, this is even harder than handling a complex problem in her office.
 
After a few more minutes Gunner also came, she only texted him last night to meet her in her favorite café, she never told him why, but he agreed anyway without asking her the reason for the meet up, and he came on time.

Nag kibit balikat ang lalaki saka siya muling tinignan at tinanong “So, why did you ask me for this meeting, aside from wanting to see my handsomeness?” mayabang nitong tanong, he clearly doesn't want to let go of that topic, but she is not in the mood to banter with him about nonsense.
 
“This is about Gideon” panimula niya, palihim muna siyang humugot ng malalim na buntong hininga saka muling sumimsim ng kanyang kape upang ihanda ang sarili, tumahimik naman ang lalaki ng mabanggit niya ang pangalan ng anak, his facial expression also changed, from smiling to serious one na ipinagpapasalamat niya, hindi niya alam but his smile is somehow affecting her.
