"Jesus. That was good." Roger said breathing rather heavily.
His head was rested on the back of the sofa, with his hands still on your shoulders.

You looked up at him and wiped your mouth with the sleeve of your shirt.

He pulled his trousers back up, beginning to breathe normaly again.

You climb onto his lap and pushed his head back onto the back of the sofa so you could kiss him.
He placed his hands on your waist slowly moving one of them to your face.

Soon, he stopped kissing your lips and made his way to your neck.
Then your chest.

But it wasn't long before you lifted his chin to kiss him again.

It hadn't been 2 months.
This was the only option.
Atleast you both enjoyed it.

Before it was about to go a little bit further, an inevitable interruption took place.

The baby had woken up and began to cry.

"Fuck sake. I'll go." You say and kiss him one more time.
He groans and trys to keep his hands on your waist but you take them of.

A minute later, you leave the baby's room holding her in your arms.

Roger stood up when he noticed you with the baby.

He walked over to you and stood rather closely.
His hands were holding your arms and a smile crept onto his face when he looked down at the baby.

"She has your eyes." You say.
He chuckles.
"And your nose... I get a feeling she's going to be a real daddy's girl."
"I'd be disappointed if she wasn't!"
"Wanna hold?"
"Sure love."

You place Lily into his arms and kiss his cheek before walking into the kitchen.

"What time will your parents get here?" You ask.
"Erm. I'm not sure."
"What shall I cook for them?"
"I'll do the cooking. You can rest."
"I don't need rest."
"Yes you do. You're up all night with the baby."
"Well that's what being a Mother takes."
"My love. Let me help you."

You sigh and walk over to him.
He looks at you with sympathy in his eyes.
"Fine. You're to nice to me."
He kisses you, then hands you the baby so he can prepare the food.

"What will you cook?" You asked sitting down on the sofa preparing to breast feed her.
"Erm. Well whatever we have in the freezer." He laughs, "Looks like lasagna?"
"Oh yum. Want any help?"
"Nope. I got this!" He says with a grin.
You smile and proceed to breast feed Lily.

A few hours past.

Roger had cooked the dinner.
Lily was lying on the play matt watching the cartoons on the TV.
You were sat on the sofa, cuddled up beside Roger.

"They'll be here soon." He says and places his hand on your thigh.
"Ok love." You respond keeping your eyes on the TV.
He chuckles.
"What?" You ask through small laughter.
"Nothing. You're just... I don't know."
You kiss his cheek not knowing how to respond.

You rest your head on his shoulder as he pulls you closer to him.
He kisses your neck, taking in every aspect of your body.
"I love you." He whispers.
"Love you to." You respond turning your head to look at him.
He kisses you again, only it lasted longer and more was passionate then he had ever kissed you before.

"Jesus! You've never kissed me like that before."
"What do you mean?"
"It was - I don't know. Different. Had more emotions."
He shrugs.

Just then, the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it." You say.

You open the door and Rogers parents walk in.

You share greetings and his mum is first to pick up Lily.
"Hi you!" She says as Lily laughs.
"We have some news." You say as Roger gets up to stand beside you.

"Is everything ok?" His dad asked.
"Yes. Um. To begin. We've thought of a name for her... It's Lily."
"Oh that's beautiful! It's suits her."
"Yes it does. Nice choice." His dad says as she hands him the baby.
"Thank you. Erm. But. There's something else... I didn't tell anyone for a long time."

Roger clutches your waist.
You can feel your heartbeat in your head.

"So. Um. R-Roger... My ex, Cameron, I'd not Lily's father... Roger is."

Silence.

"You're grandparents."

Silence.

Rogers hands get sweaty as you take his in yours.

"Well. I don't really know what to say." His mother speaks.
"That's brilliant! Congratulations Rog." She adds hugging him, then you.
"You're not mad?" He asks.
"No of course not. We were wondering when we'd get a grandchild." His dad says hugging you both after handing Lily back to Roger.

"Oh look at you! Such a cute little family." His mother says.
You both chuckle, then he kisses your cheek.

"I can't believe we're grandparents. And to the most beautiful baby!"
"I'm so happy you're not mad or upset." You say.
"Of course not. Y/n we love you. And so does Roger. You're great for him and Lily's in safe hands."

She wasn't wrong.

It was the family you have always dreamed of.
