Chapter 16

Chapter 16: "Her aura is made of poetry, roses, and galaxies."

"We have a meeting with coach later. Don't wait for me."

Knowing that we wouldn't go home together later disappointed me. I seriously got it bad. Just a week of being official and with him doing his boyfriend duties; Such as picking me up from our house and taking me home after class. 

It's not that I require him to do any of those. But Chester voluntarily does it because, just like me, he wants to spend as much time as possible with me. He's just as clingy as I am. 

"Will it take long? I can wait for you." So clingy, Claire.

"We're gonna drink at his house after."

I bit my lower lip and nodded. "Just call me later then."

"Of course." 

I almost sighed in frustration as we stopped in front of my Business Math class. Why does it feel like time flies to fast when we're together? 

He glanced at his expensive wrist watch. "I gotta go. Call me when you get home?" 

I nodded. "Will do."

He leaned down and gave me a kiss on the cheek. And as always.. It never fails to give me butterflies in the stomach. I watched him leave until he was gone from my sight. I let out a dreamy sigh and went back inside, ignoring the stares from the other students. Some we're giving me the envious look; And some we're giving me the killer look. 

When Chester and I became official, it became a hot topic in the university. I gained a lot of haters: For despite my boyfriend's bad reputation, he still has a lot of admirers. Can't blame them. 

"Kilig na kilig, gurl?" Andy said teasingly as I took the seat beside her.

I just giggled and nodded. She just rolled her eyes. After our last class, I was supposed to see Chester before going home, but I felt a bit embarrassed to do so when Andy teased me to no end and called me clingy. 

Thus, we just went straight to Haven where we found Kyle, JL, and kuya Clint. They were busy playing some mobile game. 

"JL, don't you have a meeting with your coach?" I asked.

His eyes widened then muttered a curse. "Putsa! Nakalimutan ko! Lagot ako kay coach!" Nagmamadali siyang tumayo.

"Loko. Mobile game  pa. May parusa ka na naman for sure!" said Kyle who's still focused on his game. 

JL muttered a curse then went out hurriedly. Natawa na lang kami sa kanya. I turned to kuya Cliff and asked him if he could take me home.

"Won't you wait for Chester?" Kyle asked.

I shook my head. "May lakad pa yata sila after. So, kuya Cliff, pahatid ako ha? Si manong Pogs inutusan ni Lolo."

"Give me 10 minutes."

My face brightened up. "Sure! Thanks, Kuya!"

"By the way, Claire, pupunta ka ba sa birthday party ni Shiela? This Saturday na iyon," said Andy.

"Shoot. I forgot about that." Shiela is one of our blockmates. She's quite friendly and throws nice parties according to Andy. "I have to ask Chester first."

She raised her brow and gave me a teasing look. "Naks naman. Kailangan pala may permiso pa ni Chester."

"Of course. I don't want him to feel naman that his opinions don't matter to me."
