Chapter 6

Chapter 6: "She didn't just fall in love with him once. She falls in love with him every time she looks at him."

I squealed with delight as I logged in on my Facebook account and saw the notification about Chester accepting my friend request. Finally! I lay on my stomach on the bed and went through his profile. I felt giddy while looking through his few photos. 

Hmm.. This guy doesn't upload much photos. Most of the photos that he has were only tagged with him. I giggled and saved some of them which I think are really awesome. I probably saved more or less ten pictures of his. 

"Oh my gosh.." Just when I was about to log out, he went online. I sent him a message right away.

Claire Imperial: You've finally accepted my friend request! 

Bigla akong napabangon at napa-indian sit sa kama ng makita na nabasa na niya ang message ko sa kanya. I bit my thumb, feeling nervous, while waiting for his reply. But then I blew out as it dawned on me that he wouldn't respond to my message. What's new, Claire?

Claire Imperial: You're such a snob! Anyway, I went through your photos. Why few lang? I only got to save few lang din tuloy. Such a shame.

I swear if I get seen zoned by him again, I would not chat him again. My eyes widened as I saw the three little dots which only means that he was typing his respond to my pm. I squealed as I heard the 'ting' sound which indicates that someone has messaged me. Never thought a normal sound could be so divine in my ears.

Chester Samaniego: Stalker.

My smile faded. "This is it?" I muttered, a bit miffed. 

I scoffed. I picked up my phone and took a selfie. I took several photos of myself, chose the best one, then sent it to him. Nakangising nagreply ako sa kanya.

Claire Imperial: Lucky you. Your stalker is so beautiful.

Chester Samaniego: Beautiful but pesky. 

Claire Imperial: Uyy.. you find me beautiful pala! OMG. Don't tell me you're already falling for me?

Chester Samaniego: Dream on. 

Chester Samaniego: Go to sleep. I'm logging out. 

Our convo ended quite quickly but it was enough to give me sleepless night. 

"Which do you think is the best, Andy?" I put my elbow on the table and rested my chin on my palm while waiting for her choice expectantly. 

She pursed her lips while looking through my selfies. "Parang pare-pareho lang naman, Girl. Maganda ka sa lahat. Para saan ba ito? Magpapalit ka ng profile picture?"

I grinned sheepishly. "I'm gonna send it to Chester."

Her eyes widened. "Ano! Are you out of your mind!" She scratched her forehead. "Ewan ko sa'yong babae ka. Punta na nga lang tayo ng Haven!"

Nagpahila naman ako sa kanya habang namimili pa rin ng picture na isesend ko kay Chester. I was serious when I said that. My face broke into a big smile as I recognized the person walking towards the gate of the university. Walang pag-aatubiling tinawag ko siya at naglakad palapit sa kanila ni Yu.

"Hi! Are you guys, heading to Haven?"

It was Yu who answered me with a kind smile. "Yes. Are you going there, as well?"
