"Ever since I listened to their music, I've always wanted to attend at least one of their concerts. Like seriously. Kaso all of you can't come with me naman. Selene is flying to the US with kuya Clyde and the kids. Sea has already made plans na rin on that day. She's so lagalag lately, you know? And you..." I sighed.

Andy grimaced. "Guilt-trip yarn? Pasensiya na. Gusto talaga kitang samahan. As in, girl. Kaso birthday iyon nung pinsan ni JL. Alam mo naman close-knit yung family nila." She breathed out. "Sige. Baka pwede na sumunod na lang ako sa Boracay sa kanila."

I scoffed. "As if JL would agree. He's so clingy like the rest of the guys kaya!"

"Akong bahala. Hindi uubra sa akin iyon," she said smugly.

I smiled and tapped her arm. "Don't worry about it na." I'm not scared of going to the concert by myself. It's just that I think it'll be fun to watch it with others. "Where are those two anyway? So tagal ha!"

"Sabi ni JL kanina malapit na sila."

My brows rose as the cafe suddenly became quiet. The girls stopped talking and they were looking at the entrance, eyes sparkling. And when I turned to look, the corner of my mouth curved up. 

I understand, girls. I do. Take my word for it, I was once in your place. 

Who could blame these girls for salivating over these two Greek gods? Didn't I have my obsessed-stalker moments back when I was still crazy about him in college? It's just entirely impossible to ignore them when they walk in a room. 

I rested my chin on my palm and stared at him as he walked towards our table and pulled out the chair next to mine. 

"What?" He raised his brow at me. 

I got a whiff of his perfume as he sat down beside me, and it made me sigh. "They'll get crazier if they get a whiff of your scent."

His forehead creased. "What?"

Andy and I chuckled in unison. 

"Anong trip na naman niyong dalawa?" JL asked. 

Again, Andy and I just both smirked. JL scratched his forehead in confusion and just sat down beside Andy. On the other hand, Chester reached for my drink.

"What's this?" he asked and took a sip.

"Iced Shaken Black Tea with Ruby Grapefruit & Honey. It's tasty, isn't it?"

He just nodded and took a sip again. My mouth curved into a smile. Pagbaling ko sa dalawa ay pareho silang nakatanga sa amin ni Chester at nagpalipat-lipat ang tingin sa aming dalawa.

"What?" 

"Nakakaloka kayo," napapailing na sabi ni Andy.

I just laughed. As for Chester, he just glanced at them and focused on his phone. Until now, they can't seem to get over my new-found friendship with Chester. 

It wasn't something that we talked about and agreed on; It just happened unconsciously. We just found ourselves being comfortable in having conversations with each other like we used to. And yeah, we sometimes hang out together, too.

I don't find it weird even if he's my ex. And fortunately, he doesn't either. Well, except for our friends. 

After hanging out at the cafe with Andy and JL, we went to the mall to buy some gifts for his cousin's baby. Matter of fact, it was the main reason why we met up today. I agreed since I had to buy a present, too. Binyag ng anak ni Brent. And both of us were chosen to be the baby's godparents.
