Chapter 38: "Love isn't always perfect. It isn't a fairytale. And it always doesn't come easy."

They say that you should marry someone who understands how little things matter such as cooking for you because you suck at it. Take you to work then pick you up after for he doesn't want you to go through the hustle of taking public transportations, and also for the reason that your safety is his top priority.

Fold your clothes when you're too lazy to do so. Buy your cravings for he knows that doing so cheers you up. Constantly update you of his whereabouts so you won't worry about him. Let you rant over small annoying stuff. Remain patient on your red days because he's aware of your pains. Hold your hand. Make you feel that his day is so much better with you in it. And find time to be with you, no matter how busy he is.

And finally, marry someone who won't make you doubt your place in his life.

And by some miracle, God has gifted me someone like that. And I know that I should cherish His rare gift to me because not everyone gets to be with someone who knows how to treat them right.

"What are you thinking?"

I licked my lower lip and looked at him seductively. "Trying to count how many times you've made me come?"

He chuckled and pulled me closer in his arms. "Should I make you come again and again?"

I shrieked when he suddenly leaned down and bit my pink tip. "Bubbs!"

He smirked and continued to nibble it. I inhaled sharply and held the back of his head. After my graduation, Chester and I went out of the country together for the first time. We made memories in Santa Monica, drove around Malibu, and he finally gave up his 'virtue' on our second night in California.

It was painfully sweet as he was my first though I wasn't his. I was aware that he had lost his innocence a lot earlier. Perhaps, that's why I couldn't understand why even if I was so willing to give myself to him, he insisted on waiting.

But he proved to be right. It was a lot sweeter and more beautiful when it was the right time. I'm glad he insisted on waiting for the right time. When I was more mature and certain of what I really wanted.

Being one brought us a lot closer.

I gasped as he suddenly pushed inside me. There was a bit of pain in the beginning, but it was soon replaced by euphoria. His room was filled with our heavy breathings, moans, and my screams as he moved fast and roughly.

Chester is gentle at least with me, but when it comes in bed, he's a monster.

My body shook as I reached the zenith. He slowed down but kept on pushing in and out of me. "Bubbs, you're gonna kill me!"

He reached for my lips and gave me a deep kiss. "This should remind you never to look at another man again."

His face darkened and became rough again as he was reminded of Selene's bridal shower that the girls and I prepared. He, kuya Clyde, and the rest barged in on our party and caught us having fun with the hired male dancer.

Chester got so furious with me, and I got punished for it. Although, I had to say that I loved the punishment.

My eyes sparkled with tears as kuya Clyde and Selene were pronounced husband and wife. In the light of some circumstances, they were separated for 3 years. I saw how much Selene struggle living each day without the love of her life. And I knew kuya Clyde suffered just as much.
