Chapter 32

Chapter 32:"You give me the kind of feeling people write novels about."

"Have these photocopied. 4 copies each," ani Georgina. 

I almost rolled my eyes. This woman is the bossiest! I came so early; Excited to be trained, but to my utter annoyance, all I've done so far was to run errands for her and the others. They even made me buy coffee and food for them. I can't believe that this is the first thing I would do as an intern. 

I wanted to curse when she raised her brow at me as I put the photocopies on her table. After she had checked them, she said, "Bring this documents to Mr. Bacardo, Head of Engineer. 7th floor."

Upon hearing that, I felt like thanking her for finally making me do something that I've wanted to do since this morning! I was quite excited as I went to the 7th floor. The Engineer department was pretty bigger than ours. As soon as I entered everyone stopped working and looked at me which made me feel conscious. 

"Claire?" My brows rose as I saw the guy who held the elevator door for me this morning. What was his name again? He smiled. "It's Trevor," he said with a big smile as if he could read my mind.

I just gave him a small smile. "Oh yeah."

"So, what are you doing here?" Pasimple kong iginala ang mga mata sa paligid. Where could he be? "Claire? Are you looking for someone?"

I blinked and glanced at him. "Uh.. I need to give this to Mr. Bacardo," I said, showing him the folder. 

"Oh. Let me lead you to his office."

I just nodded.

"Uy. Ang bilis ng diskarte, Trevs!" pambubuska ng isang lalaki na may katabaan.

He laughed. "Siraulo. Tinutulungan ko lang!"

"Utot mo!" hirit ng isa. "Huwag kang papabola diyan, Miss."

"Gago! Siniraan mo pa ako!" Napapakamot na bumaling siya sa akin. "Pasensiya ka na. Mga siraulo talaga ang mga kasama ko dito."

Tipid lang akong ngumiti.

"Ayan na pala si sir. Mukhang tapos na ang meeting nila ni architect Samaniego."  

Upon hearing that, I turned around immediately. My face lit up as my eyes found the reason why I chose to have my internship at Aguilar Corp than. I felt kilig watching him talk to their head with that serious expression on his face. 

Seeing him made the whole day at work bearable.

"Bubbs!" Nakalabing yumakap agad ako sa kanya pagkasakay ko sa Bugatti niya. He smells so good even after a whole day at work. 

He wrapped his arms around me. "Tired?"

I nodded. "The employees there are so mean! Especially that Geo- ugh! I don't even wanna mention her name! So bossy!" I sighed harshly. "Imagine, Bubbs, they made me buy their coffee and food! That's so annoying! I mean, that wasn't part of my job. Ugh! I seriously don't like them!"

He caressed my back comfortingly and kissed my forehead. "Where are you having your internship?"

I didn't tell him because I wanted to surprise him. That's the reason why I asked him to pick me up at the mall nearby instead. 

"You'll know soon."

He just rolled his eyes. I giggled and pecked his lips. Having Chester this close could make a bad day better. That's why even in the elevator, I was still clingy to him. I didn't wanna let go even when we reached the floor of my unit.
