The first 4 chapters will be an introduction to you, and how you lived your life before having to become a cadet. (It is important to the story later on). This story will follow the original aot storyline, but it'll be a little different because a lot of it revolves you and your ability to have these dreams about humans being titans.
_________

You had an easy life. Maybe a little too easy of a life, but you like it that way.

Living in wall rose was absolutely pleasant. Long fields and food for days, what more could anyone want?

You watched as the bright sun shined on the tulips in your garden. You loved this garden. It had meaning to you. After your mother died in an unexpected accident, it was like her memories passed onto you. She loved this garden, with all of her heart.

She'd wake up every morning to water it, before planting seeds and making sure the fruits were ripe. And so, you continued what she couldn't finish. Growing this lovely garden until it was enough to supply food for the rest of your life.

You didn't know if you planned on moving. Maybe living in this little home you grew up in would be enough. Money wasn't great, you worked part time at a grocery store, often connecting with the other girl that works there. Her name was Sammy.

She had a garden as well. But that garden was your garden.

'"What do you mean?" Some May ask'

You held onto Sammy's hand. "It's our garden."

Sammy was your girlfriend. She was two years older than you and she was what brought happiness into your lonely life. Once your mother passed, your father stayed distant. You never understood why, did he just not like you because his wife died? It didn't make the slightest sense.

But things stay anonymous. You never knew the reason and you dug the memories of him deep in your mind, never wanting to waste your time on that fool again.

He would come over every once in a while to see how the house was doing, and giving you an allowance considering you were still in need of help.

You thanked him for that, but money doesn't bring happiness, and since Sammy came into your life it felt like your father didn't matter.

There was so much about Sammy you could talk about. Her fluffy blonde hair, her freckles you'd constantly obsess over, her light eyebrows that she was once insecure about. All of it, it was all beautiful to you.

Her soft voice would be the light to your morning and her little "Good night" whisper would be the light to your night.

"Sammy?" You looked around your room to which see the side of the bed next to you empty.

Sammy was always a heavy sleeper, the one who never cared for alarms, and slept any chance she got. You'd constantly have to push her awake before listening to her grunting fit every morning about "noo! Justttt a little longer!" Meanwhile she'll be late for work if she doesn't get up.

"Sammy?" You repeated, getting out of bed to look for the girl who might be tiredly roaming around the house.

You looked, and yet, no Sammy. The car was in the driveway so there's no way she could've left. Was she playing a prank on you?

She's... not here. You look around the house before contemplating on what you'd do if you were her.

You looked through the kitchen window as you saw her blonde hair blow in the breeze. 'Thank god' your heart stopped racing as you opened the back door to go to her.

She was standing in front of the garden.

You were still young. You being 16 and her being 18. High school in wall rose was too pricey so you dropped out after your mother died, and began to work.

You met Sammy then. She never told you much about her past or where she came from. At the time you met, she was 17 and you were 15. She would've been in high school as well, but she was working.

She asked you why you weren't in school, but you could've asked her the same. It was strange though, you and her never shared conversations about your family, and things stayed closed. All you knew was that you felt a sense of comfort in each other. You were the same.

Considering Sammy was living with you, you assume she's not too well with her family either. But you had each other, and you were family now.

You spent most of your time cooking, cleaning and taking care of your garden while also tackling a part time job.

Sammy worked full time at the grocery store, ending shifts around the time when you start yours. She'd gotten a raise and the both of you were happy.

She'd rack in more money, and you'd be able to get something nice. Wall rose was filled with people that were wealthy, you still didn't understand how your mother and father found this small house in the middle of nowhere.

It was quiet, surrounded by fields for miles. You knew neighbours, but it's not like you could look out your window and see them. You and Sammy shared an old rundown car, your mothers old one.

You'd get to work with it. It wasn't the best, but it's not like your dad would surprise you with a good car. He probably didn't even have the money himself. Knowing him, he'd probably be selling his money for beer like an idiot.

"Sammy?" You walked up to the girl that was standing still in front of the garden.

You stood next to her side to look at her face. It seemed still. No emotion. Weird, you've never seen Sammy like this before.

"Sammy?" You tap the girls shoulder as she turns to you with a smile.

"Sorry honey, I had a bad dream." She said calmly as you held onto her shoulders.

"Let's go back inside, I'll make us some pancakes." You smiled as you grabbed onto her hand, bringing her back into the house.
