"Why'd you kill Sasha?" You questioned the girl as she sat at the back of the cell.
"I don't want to talk to a devil." Gabi shot back as you gripped onto the bars, Mikasa placing her hand onto your shoulder.
"Why does a little girl know how to use firearms in the first place?" You questioned as Mikasa grabbed onto your hand, pulling them away from the bars.
"We were trained to kill your kind from birth." She shot back as you turned away furiously.
"You killed my friend." You muttered as the girl grit her teeth.
"You killed mine as well." She shot back under her breath as you turned to her.
"Who? I didn't kill anyone. I stayed up and helped others. What did you do for your friends? You took revenge like an ungrateful shit." You argued as the girl put her arms out.
"What else was I supposed to do? You people were butchering my home! Am I supposed to be grateful?" She questioned as you took a deep breath.
Although she did kill Sasha, many people she knew were killed as well. It didn't make up what she did, but there was no point in arguing with a little kid.
"Let's go." Mikasa gently tugged your arm as you nodded, turning away from the Gabi to leave.
She didn't say another word, and neither did you.

"Mikasa get up." You tapped the girls nose as she dug her head further into your pillow.
"I feel like shit." She groaned as you smiled.
"Says you." You said sarcastically as the girl turned over.
Her hair was a mess.
"Eren has lost his mind." She commented as you raised a brow at the sudden mention of Eren.
"I haven't talked to that asshole since Sasha's death." You rudely commented as Mikasa rubbed her eye.
"Anyways, the reason I woke you up is to tell you I'm going to Sasha's grave. It's a beautiful spring day. You should come too." You said as you grabbed onto your uniforms jacket, leaving Mikasa in bed.
"Yeah. I'll meet you there." Mikasa replied.
It's been a month since that mission. A month since you've seen your best friend. It's like every day passed by, and you wondered why it wasn't you instead.
Sasha deserved to live. She was friendly and inspiring, and always brightens the mood. You just added destruction and chaos to those you loved.
It's been a month and you still haven't recovered. Better yet, since all of this started, since Sammy left, your life was never normal.
You left Mikasa, going to a flower store to buy flowers for Sasha.
You bought blue ones, ones you had no idea existed, but just the way they were really big and blossomed reminded you of Sasha.
After paying, you headed towards the shared cemetery. When you first joined the cadet core, they would collectively throw the bodies into a fire and let the bodies burn to ashes. Now, cadets, especially scouts as important as Sasha got an actual funeral, and were buried underground.
Though as you stood next to her grave, it didn't feel any better. Wether her body was burned, or buried, or even thrown down a river, nothing would change. She was still gone.
A boy sat quietly next to her grave. You recognized him, but didn't know him.
"Come to see Sasha?" He asked as you nodded, sitting next to him by the grave.
