Mission: LOVE ⚔️ (mikasa x reader)

Wake up

"You good?" The boy held onto your head as you felt your body being incredibly hot. You were sweating like crazy.

"I heard you whimpering from my room. It's 2am, what's going on?" Jean asked as he sat on your bed with you, holding onto your head to comfort you, you still being in shock.

"I'm... scared." You admitted as you stared straight ahead towards your wall, a teardrop falling from your eye as Jean hugged you.

"Bad dream? Or something? What happened?" The boy asked as your mouth widened.

"Titans. He's sending them." You spoke as Jean looked at you confused.

"What do you mean? Hey, you're going to be alright." Jean slapped your face gently, in anxiousness as to what you just said.

"Come on, hey!" He said as your head was spinning.

You never have dreams. And then suddenly, when you do. It feels way to realistic to be a dream.

"I have to tell Levi. We have to warn everyone." You stood up before instantly falling to the floor.

Oh right. You had only one leg. That dream made you think you were suddenly back to being mobile.

Jean got off of the bed to help you up. Before stopping you by standing in front of the door.

"(Y/n), calm down. Listen. Everyone's asleep. Let's wait until morning." He said as he knew you just had a bad dream and nothing more. But that wasn't true. Your previous dreams happened so what was to say this wouldn't either?

"Let me call Mikasa." Jean said as he ran out of the room before coming back with the baggy eyed Mikasa.

"(Y/n)," Mikasa whispered as she looked at you in the eyes before giving you a gentle hug.

"Let's talk about it." She said as she turned to Jean, shooing him away before taking you back into your room onto your bed.

"Tell me what your dream was about." Mikasa said as you took deep breaths before explaining.

"And then Jean woke me up." You told Mikasa as she nodded.

"It's strange you remembered every single detail of that dream perfectly. Do you think you could draw what the setting looked like so the captain will have an idea?" She asked as you looked at her.

"Do you really think they'll believe me? They'll just tell me I'm going insane." You said as Mikasa put her hand on your shoulder.

"(Y/n), I don't want to give you false hope. But if that dream was real some way, your mother could still be alive somewhere. And that man also said that you 'had to go back in the walls' which means wherever he was keeping your mom was outside of the walls." Mikasa came to conclusions faster than you, you just grabbing onto your notebook before writing everything down so you wouldn't forget.

You doubt you'd forget though, you still remember the first couple of dreams you had where Sammy would tell you about Mikasa and to stay away from her and Eren, to the one about Annie, Bertholdt and Reiner all talking about her.

Plus, in your dream, that man turned a dead body into a titan. That's impossible. But it was true.

"That man asked me about Eren in that dream." You told Mikasa the part you'd left out before.

"What'd he say?" She asked as you looked at her intently. She surely was worried about Eren. But you were slightly happy he didn't say much about Eren.

"He asked me if I knew him. I said no because I knew he didn't have good intentions." You told Mikasa as she nodded.

"What is it that they want from Eren though. First Samantha, then this new guy? Why do they want to know about Erens whereabouts? What do they want from him?" Mikasa asked as you didn't exactly know the answer.

"I think it has something to do with his titan. Sammy was a titan, and she asked about Eren back then before we found out Eren actually was a titan. Now that Eren is a titan, another guy shows up in my dreams asking for him?" You questioned thinking that's the only logical explanation as to why they cared so much about knowing Erens whereabouts.

Not to mention they've all been showing up in your, and no one else's dream. You wondered why you were the one tied up in all of this. Did it have to do with Sammy? Your mom? Eren? Or is it just dumb luck this was all happening to you?

"Okay. Let's get some rest and then we go to captain Levi tomorrow and tell him all about the dream." Mikasa said as you nodded, still being slightly frightened by the "titans" the man implyed he was going to send if he didn't get answers. And you didn't answer him, which makes you even more scared. What if titans actually do come and attack your home, and kill so many people? It'll all be your fault for not telling him answers.

"Move over." Mikasa said as she laid down on your bed next to you, you being surprised by when the girl said 'let's get some rest' she meant together.

But it was better than being alone. Especially at a time like this.

"I'm still scared, Mikasa. What if titans do attack? And it's all my fault. I don't want more people to die because of me." You said with sadness in your voice as the girl gently spooned you on the bed.

"It's not your fault. And if titans do come, I'll kill them all." She smiled into your back as you curled up into a ball.

"Okay." You whispered. You trusted Mikasa. But that didn't mean you weren't scared.

You were. And you didn't understand why your mother had to be wrapped up in that dream. Locked behind bars, looking pale, calling your name in fear. Before you were cut short by that asshole man. You still didn't know who he was, and it hurt to know that that man was holding your mother hostage, the possibility of that actually happening.

You believed you had that dream for a reason. It was a call to not only help your mom who was somewhere captured outside the wall, but also that there was a new enemy you've never seen before. Who has the ability to use some type of needle to turn dead bodies into titans.

This was so much to go off on, and that terrified you.
