Mission: LOVE ⚔️ (mikasa x reader)

First a dream, now this?

"Mikasa, can we talk?" You turned to the girl in bed as Sasha, Hitch and Annie had already left the cabin for breakfast.

"I had a weird dream again." You told her honestly as she tilted her head, turning on the flashlight so she could see your face.

Even though it was morning, it was so dark outside. You usually waited for the sun to rise before getting up.

"What about?" She questioned as you clicked your tongue.

"Annie was talking about Sammy with Bertholdt and Reiner. It was weird. She was saying how she betrayed them and that Annie would never expose herself like that." You told her as Mikasa's eyes lit up.

"Are you sure that didn't happen? Because having a dream that descriptive is just odd." She said as you shook your head.

"I'm sure. I woke up thinking 'what the fuck?' And plus, Annie was sleeping here all night." You said confused as Mikasa still looked shocked.

"How do you know that dream wasn't a warning? I mean it happens all the time. You dream something weird and it happens in the future." She said as you shook your head.

"I sure hope not." You said as you couldn't tell if Mikasa was teasing you or being serious.

"Let's just keep an eye out. We'll be fine." She smiled before reaching out her hand and patting your side.

"Suns gonna rise soon. We should get some breakfast before Sasha eats our portions." She smiled as you nodded, getting dressed as she did next to you, you no longer being bothered seeing the girl change.

"I'll always be jealous of your muscles." You admit as you put on your T-shirt, her doing the same before turning to you.

"You think?" She asked as she lifted her shirt, revealing her noticeable 4 pac.

"Yes. Strong women are attractive, Y'know?" You said as she put her shirt down, turning to get her shoes.

"You think I'm attractive?" She asked as your face heated up in embarrassment. The answer was yes, but you couldn't just come to terms with that and admit it.

"I think those muscles are." You giggled as you poked her tummy, causing her to cover her stomach and begin to laugh at your gesture.

"Okay okay, I'm hungry c'mon!" Mikasa said as she began speed walking towards the lunch room, you trying to catch up with the quick paced girl.

"Morning!" Sasha smiled as soon as you walked into the lunchroom.

"Hey." You replied as you went to sit next to her after snagging one of the last pieces of bread from a basket.

Not the best breakfast, but just enough to get you through.

"Nanaba looks off, don't you think?" Sasha asked as she pointed to Nanaba, who was on duty today watching the lunch room in case of any fights. She seemed totally out of it. You wondered what was on her mind.

"Who knows. We don't know much about her personal life or anything." You replied as you began to eat, ignoring what was none of your business.

"Morning sunshine!" Jean dropped his wooden plate filled with salad on the table you were at.

The loud bang of the wooden plate hitting the wooden table made you flinch slightly, as Jean sat next to you, Mikasa instantly giving him the side eye from across the table.

"Who you calling sunshine?" Mikasa glared at the boy as a way of saying "back the fuck up".

You giggled at Mikasa who had gotten in the way to back you up.

"Jean clicked his tongue before turning to you.

"You don't have any salad. I ate some, but you can have the rest." He said as he pushed his plate towards you.

"I'm good. The tomatoes taste gross. And they end up using the old ones we don't eat to make tomato sauce for our dinner. It's gross." You respond, causing a disgusted face from the boy.

"So the tomato sauce in the spaghetti we ate yesterday were left overs from our morning fruits and veggies?" He asked as you nodded.

"Pretty sure if you leave this salad here when you leave for training, they'll get the tomatoes in here and then it'll be in our dinners." You said as he gasped.

"Disgusting! What?!" He said shocked as you giggled a little. You didn't know for sure that was true, you knew they use the leftovers but you might've teased him a little about them taking it straight from the food he ate and didn't finish.

Mikasa giggled a little from across the table as Jean looked at her.

"You're an idiot. You're eating our left over shit!" She said as you began to laugh with her, Jean looking back and forth at the two of you giggling together.

"Im done here." Jean said with a clearly red face as you and Mikasa continued to laugh at how easily Jean could fall for bullshit.

"Wait, (y/n)," Mikasa said as her smile disappeared.

"Eren, you too, look." She continued as she pointed towards Annie, Bertholdt and Reiner who were all sitting together. Both you and Eren turned to see what was wrong.

They've never sat together before, especially without Hitch being stuck to Annie.

"(Y/n), I told Eren about your dream while you were talking to Jean. Sorry, but I needed to." She said as the three of you stared at the three of them.

"What do you think they're talking about?" You ask as Mikasa shook her head.

"I don't know, but I can tell by their facial expression that it's serious. Do you think they're onto us?" Mikasa asked as Eren tilted his head.

"Onto us about what? They're the suspicious ones here, not us." Eren said as you nodded agreeing with him.

"It's just odd. (Y/n) has a dream about the three of them then suddenly boom! The three of them are hanging out together for literally the first time we've seen them." Mikasa added as you did see her point of view.

"Just let it slide Mikasa. They aren't mind readers. Let's just be cautious." You advised as Eren nodded.

"Hey What're you guys talking about?" Sasha's energetic voice came from behind you as she rested her chin on the top of your head.

"Go back to eating with your boyfriend Connie." Eren teased as she shot up in shock.

"That baldie? Hell no! Friends. Definitely not boyfriend, yuck." She stuck her finger in her mouth motioning that she would throw up.

"Yeah yeah, sit down." You said as you pat the empty seat next to you, Sasha jumping over the bench to sit next to you.

"Alright so did you guys know that the chef that feeds us secretly shits inside our ste-" Sasha began as you leaned back at yet another stupid story the girl would tell.
