Mission: LOVE ⚔️ (mikasa x reader)

All at once

"(Y/n), help me put this iron into the box." Levi said as you grabbed onto the other side of an iron pipe, helping Levi lift and put it into the box.

"Connie give me your hat!" Jean whined as Connie held onto his hat.

It was hot outside today. You never expected spring to turn into summer with one day. Just a couple of weeks ago you were wearing a light sweater. Now you were dying in a tank top.

You wiped the sweat off of your forehead as you continued to carry heavy iron rods with Levi.

Mikasa was helping Eren carry the wood as you watched her from afar.

"(Y/n)," Levi instructed as you looked back at him, him having an annoyed look on his face as he knew you were too busy worrying about Mikasa.

"Sorry sir." You replied as you focused on helping him.

You tuned out the sounds of connie and Jean yelling with each other as you wanted to finish putting these iron rods into the box so you could rest in the shade.

You wouldn't be surprised if you went back to base and had a huge heat rash on the back of your neck.

"Guys I've gotta say something." Eren spoke as everyone sat on a platform the horses were bringing back towards home behind you was the huge boxes of material the group had found that could be useful.

Mikasa looked at him intently, clearly knowing what he was going to say.

"I'm deciding to pass my titan down to one of you." He said as you looked at Levi.

"I approved." He stated before looking away, clearly uninterested in answering your many questions.

"I'm taking his titan." Mikasa said simply as Eren grit his teeth, clearly having gone over this before.

"Mikasa is not taking my titan." Eren responded, shutting the girl down.

Mikasa crossed her arms as you spoke up.

"Eren I could take the responsibility. Plus, we're the only ones with visions." You told Eren as he nodded.

"No. NO. (Y/n) is not gaining your powers." Mikasa continued to interrupt as you looked at her.

"I'm already going to lose Eren. I'm not going to lose you too." She said boldly, yet her voice hitched, you being able to tell this was a lot on her.

"Mikasa I can help. I can finish what Eren started." You protested as she shook her head aggressively.

"What happened to the life we were supposed to live together? What happened to the happy ending we were supposed to share? How would that happen if you gained his titan, became a bounty, and die 13 years from now." She questioned as you didn't want to think about it.

"13 years is a long time." You reminded Mikasa as she looked shocked as such a response.

"You'd die in your early 30's. think about it!" She spoke rather loudly this time, you mentally begging her to stop pointing out the fact that this was actually a really bad choice for you. But it was the best choice for humanity.

"I'll take the titan." Connie said as Jean smacked him.

"Not happening." You told Connie before looking back at eren.

Eren looked at you with a determined face before the topic changed and that conversation was done. You and Eren both knew from the look you exchanged that you would be the one to gain his power and continue the mission until freedom is actually achieved.
