"Jean." You slapped the boy in the face with a pillow as the boy was still sound asleep.
"Man wake up!" You said again as you slapped him with the pillow for a second time.
"Stop." The boy groaned as you were holding the pillow in position to hit him for a third time.
"I needed to talk to you. I told you yesterday." You said as the boy rolled over in his bed to face you.
"When I got up! Not by you waking me up." He said as you placed your crutches next to his bed, sitting down next to him on the bed.
"Listen Jean. When it came to that dream I had last last night." You said as he looked into your eyes, before leaning over and turning on a lamp to be able to see you clearly.
"What about it?" He questioned with a yawn.
"My dream told me there would be titans incoming. And I was right. My dream happened. Remember? I told you." You said as the boy kind of shook his head.
"You're sure it's not a coincidence?" He asked as you stared blankly into Jeans eyes.
"Jean you idiot!" You whisper shouted as you slapped the boys arm.
"I had a dream about Annie being a titan, then we find out she actually is one. Then I have a dream about this man sending more titans, and guess what? He sent them!" You said clearly as Jean was still a little lost.
"Okay, and what're you getting out of it?" He asked as you put your fingers out.
You raised the left hand pointer finger. "I have a dream about a man sending titans." You said before raising your right hand pointer finger. "And then titans actually come in reality." You continued as you placed both fingers that were raised together.
"That means that in reality, the man was sending those titans. They didn't come from no where, and it wasn't a coincidence. A man, a real man somewhere from the far north are sending these titans." You said trying to make Jean be able to connect the dots.
"Did you tell captain Levi?" Jean asked as you nodded.
"There's no solution Jean. I don't know what to do!" You whispered as the boy held onto your shoulder.
"We'll find a way to beat them... and him. Just settle down for now." He suggested as you raised your eyebrow.
"Settle down? Jean if we don't do something we'll all fucking die inside these shit walls!" You said as Jean shook his head.
"Time, (y/n), we need time. We'll do a mission soon enough. Did you write stuff down in your journal?" He questioned as you quickly got up without a word, grabbing onto your crutches before walking out, going to your room, and coming back to Jeans room with your notebook in hand.
"I write everything. Everything." You said quickly before stammering to open the pages.
"Everything to what I eat, to who I talk to, and to how that affects my sleep." You said, stuttering on some of your words as you showed the pages of the notebook which documented what you did every day.
He probably thought you were crazy. But you wanted to know why you had these dreams, and if they only happen depending on the day. You came to no conclusions, but you still write it down, just in case.
You also had a section in your notebook where you wrote down plans, things that you could do to become closer with different people, especially the plans with Reiner and Bertholdt. Things to say, questions to ask, what to do and what not to do when trying to get answers from them.
You showed it all to Jean.
"I'm going fucking insane Jean. You don't understand." You said with slightly shaky hands, showing him the countless full pages of your writing.
"I got three hours of sleep before you guys got back. And I'm not going to be able to go back to bed." You whispered, your eyes being wide awake and your body not being able to rest again.
"Hey, hey, you'll be fine." Jean said as he closed the notebook, taking it away from you so you weren't stressing.
"Jean why me? Of all the people that could get these dreams, why me?" You questioned as Jean sighed.
"I don't know much more than you do. But we're in this together. It's not just you." Jean said as he got up from his bed.
"You should wash up. Got that meeting to go to." He said as you looked at the monologue clock on the wall of their room.
It was already 6:45 am, and your meeting would start in 15 minutes.
"Shit." You groaned, not realizing you and Jean had just spent the last 45 minutes talking.
You grabbed your notebook before holding onto your crutches.
"I-I'll talk to you later." You stuttered as you wiped your eyes.
You went into the bathroom as you looked at yourself through the dusty mirror.
Having eye bags, messy hair and a gross pimple on your chin was not a way to wake up. How the hell was Jean able to even look at you this morning?
It doesn't matter. You shook your head before splashing water onto your face to wake you up.
You brushed your teeth before Mikasa entered the bathroom.
"Morning. You're late." She said as you turned to look at her.
"No kidding." You groaned as the girl raised her eyebrow.
"Bad night?" She questioned as you nodded.
"I didn't get a blink of sleep since you woke me up. At midnight. Which meant I got like... 3 hours of sleep? And I've been up since." You sighed as the girl clenched her lips together.
"You could've slept with me in my bed if that would've made you feel better." She suggested as your heart raced, you trying to act like you didn't really care.
"Yeah well... too late now." You said as you finished combing your hair, moving out of the way so Mikasa could wash up as well.
"There's no need for you to stress. So don't." Mikasa said simply before shutting up and focusing on getting ready for the day.
"I know." You said quietly before going for the door.
"Bye." You said as the girl held up a peace sign with her hands, not wanting to turn around to face you, having water in her mouth.
