Chapter 34

Catra's POV

This is the day.

Where I'll confess everything.

My love, my identity - everything.

That's what Brittany tells me to do since I can't court Adora as two people - and that I can't keep lying to her no more.

So after school, I'll bring her again on a nice place then finally confess her everything.

I sighs trying to ease the nerves I'm feeling as I enters the school.

I was suddenly pulled to an empty hallway by Adora making me feel confused and shock since she looks mad right now.

"Adora -"

"Is it true!? That you and Catra are one!?" She shrieks.

"How did you find out." I mumbles shocked.

She looks at me hurt and dissapointed. "So it is true!?" She continues. "All those lies you've told me!? Why you wear a mask, why you're busy, all of the things you told me was just all a lie!?"

I shook my head. "No, not all the things I told you is a lie -"

"How can I even be sure if you're lying right now or not!?" Tears slips on her eyes.

"Then I am only gonna tell the truths." I says shakily before removing my mask. "I am Catra." Then I removed my wig.

"You were Catra." She stared at me I disbelief. "You were Catra the whole time."

"I know, but please just calm down Adora, let me explain."

"Then explain to me." She trailed off. "Explain to me why have you been lying to me this whole time!? I had a lot of nights I couldn't sleep since I keep overthinking! You know why!? Because I loved the both of you! I didn't know who to choose then I'm just finding out now that you two are one!?"

Is it weird that my nervousness and sadness immediately turned into happiness.

"Y-You love me?" I shakily says.

She looked at me shocked before her face turning red - probably didn't expecting that she'll be confessing right now.

She suddenly runs away as I immediately followed her.

"Adora!" I was blocked by a crowd of students making me lose my sight of her.

"But who told her? How did she found out?" Lonnie asks.

"It doesn't matter, I just need to talk to her, I need to explain to her my side." I says as we hopped out off the limo since we have approached Adora's house. "Adora! Talk to me! Please!"

Their door opened revealing Adam who looks mad. "Were you the one who made my sister cry?"

She's crying because of me.

"I didn't mean to, please, let me talk to her."

"What the hell you mean you didn't mean to - !?" Adam shrieked but was cut off.

"Look, you're out of their drama, let them resolve this on their on." Brittany says. "We all know that Catra isn't a bad person, considering how much help she has done for your family. So at least give her a chance to talk to your sister."

Adam has calmed down a bit after hearing what Brittany has said as he sighs again. "Even if I want to, Adora has locked herself in her room." He says before turning towards me. "You are really dead lucky that Razz isn't here yet."

I know.

Lonnie suddenly squealed making us look at her. "I have an idea!"

"Are you sure about this?" I asks.

"Toads, now lay down!" Lonnie commanded making me groan then lays down at the ground. "Oh my gosh! Help! Help - Cat! Close your eyes! Adora help! Catra fainted!"

The others started to yell that aswell while pouring the hose upwards pretending that it's raining causing me to get wet, luckily, it's night now so it isn't that obvious that all of this were fake.

But still, this is stupid -

"Catra!" Adora's worried voice rings on my ears. "What happend!?"

"She fainted because of the rain!" Lonnie faked cry sounding like a whale.

Adora didn't question it no more as she carries me then brought me inside their house.

"Lonnie! Shut the hell up before a real typhoon happen!" I heard Brittany yells since Lonnie was still crying.

I felt that Adora dropped me on a bed  before removing my clothes making me flustered and tries my best not to move around.

I'm not ready for this!

After she's done changing my clothes into fresh ones, she wrapped a towel on my face and hair, drying me completely.

She puts a blanket on me before caressing my cheek as silence consumed the room.

"Why did you have to lie to me?" Adora mumbles. 

I didn't mean to.

"Don't you trust me enough to tell your secrets to me?"

I trust you with all my life.

"Adora." I heard Rogelio voice. "Come, it's the time we tell you Catra's identity and story."
