-John's POV-
Well the day had finally come. Freddie and I are moving somewhere different where I'll have to adjust to a new environment, which I know my anxiety will rise up again. I could obviously invision how it'd be for us living in our own home thanks to his friend. I thought so hard on this that I didn't realize that we were almost to the new place, I guess I was in too deep of thought. Freddie have had his arm wrapped around me for quite some time during the trip and only talked to the driver since he figured I was kinda lost and uninterested in the new place.
Not only am I not too interested but I'm increasingly anxious the more I think about my job, new people in the area, and other things I can't take my mind off of. Freddie must've saw how stressed I was because he turned to my direction in confusion.
"Are you alright?", he simply asked. I couldn't reply, he was just right there in my face asking me such a question. As red as my face must've been, I simply told him, "I'm okay." Clearly I wasn't, dumb move there, John. "I know something's wrong, John. Would you mind telling me?", Freddie questioned. Of course I shook my head no like an idiot because I seriously don't want him to find out, besides, it was indeed uncomfortable to tell with someone else eavesdropping in on us as they're driving. "I just don't want you to know right now....", I spoke. He frowned, he knows I'm not okay right now. At least he's aware of my anxiety.
"John, I understand you're quite nervous about this move. I am too, honestly. Moving is hard on many people, but we'll make through this together, I promise.", he explained. He was right regardless, it's hard moving away to another place, city, state, even country. But I know everything will be fine after settling in for a while, because it'll take some time to get used to.
Just miles away from the new place, I thought about how nice our future would be for the both of us. We'd be incredibly happy together, I feel that he's more than just a friend, and more than a best friend. He's my lover, even though we've been dating for almost three months. Although we barely know each other, I feel like I've known him for years. He's the closest friend I've got, aside from Brian and Roger however. I know he'll never leave my side, and I'll never leave his no matter what. Freddie makes me feel everything I wasn't able to feel...peace....happiness....but most importantly, loved.
