-John's POV-

Hey sir? Are you okay? You there? Uhm, young man? Sir?

I heard a muffled voice and they tapped me several times to get me to budge.

I was awake and turned up to this young woman. Her hair was in two braids, similarly to Wednesday Addams. She worn a maroon jacket and denim jeans. "No offense but your face is fucked. Did you trip and fall on it?", she smartly said bending down to me. "Actually yes, and I'm not being sarcastic about it either.", I groggily chuckled. "You sure you don't need to go to hospital? Your face is in bruises and I think your nose may be broken.", she examined my face carefully. I could only imagine, scapes and scars and a bloody, swollen and hopefully not broken nose.

"Come. I'll take you to the nearest so that they can examine it.", the woman said, she put her hand out and I grabbed it, she pulled me up from the pavement. "Thank you, Miss—" "I'm Anemone, your name?", she blurted. "I'm John. Pleasure to meet you. Thanks for your help.", I humbly replied. She walked with me down to her vehicle, a silver 1970 Bentley T1. "Get in, John.", she instructed me as she took her seat. I opened the other door and got in, buckling up. "Let's hope your nose isn't broken, yeah?" She started her engine and drove to the nearest hospital.

-Freddie's POV-

"We're never gonna get to him, he was too fast!", Brian cried. "We just can't stop looking for him, besides, he ran towards this direction towards home. Who knows what could've happened—" "Freddie look, there's blood here...", Roger pointed out stopping our tracks.

Oh no! This can't mean. Oh my poor Deaky, he must've hurt himself.

"Yeah, there was a little lady who saw him just laying there. She took him to the nearest hospital from here which is the Mary Anne Elizabeth Unity Hospital.", a store owner explained, "I could drive you gentlemen over there so that you could see him." "Yes, please sir, he's our bandmate!", Bri begged. The man nodded and took us to his business van.

Throughout the ride, I kept thinking it's all my fault that my poor Deakling's a wreck because of me. "It's all my fault. He's a mess because of me!", I cried. "No Freddie, none of this is your fault. He allowed emotions to drive in that moment, truly he was overwhelmed.", Bri reassured. "I just want my baby to be happy, and it seems like it's hard enough to do that!", I blurted suddenly. Roger rested his hand on my shoulder in comfort, "He will be okay, Fred. Don't blame yourself for his emotional outburst.", he softly responded. "He's right, you're not the one to blame. Your support means a lot to him, he just doesn't know it yet.",  Brian added.

I nodded in total agreement. John knows I'm the one who makes him happy, safe, loved. "I just hope that whoever took him there is nice.", I sighed. "Relax, Fred. He's gonna be okay.", Rog replied.

We arrived at the hospital in enough time. We thanked the driver and headed straight in. He told us he'd park somewhere. When we got in, we saw this pretty young receptionist up front. "Hey there, are you visiting?", she asked us. "Yes we are.", Brian replied shyly. "Last name?"

"Deacon.", I responded.

The receptionist skimmed down her clipboard and looked back at us. "Room 3171, floor 3. Take the lift." she told us. "Thank you." We followed her instructions, we took the lift up to the 3rd floor. Brian noticed how nervous I was, but gave me a comforting gaze knowing that John will be okay. As soon as the lift opened we heard...distant giggling?

"That can't be coming from John's room, could it?", questioned the blonde boy. I shrugged and just looked around for his room, Brian and Roger quickly followed, walking the hallway up and down and left and right until.

3168....3169....3170.....3171

My assumptions were right, John was in bed, giggling like a child, with a lady next to him. "Oh hello. You must be his bandmates. He told me all about you guys.", the woman greeted. "We sure are!", I said and went over to my baby. "John, oh my goodness. I'm so glad you're okay, sweet pea." I tried to kiss his cheek but he kept tossing and turning. And then I noticed it....

His nose had a couple stitches around it all covered up in a bandage, it looked quite swollen as well. I wanted to cry, he must've had surgery on it. "Did he have surgery on his nose?", I asked the woman. "Not really, the doctors noticed some open scars around it and decided to get them stitched. However, he was panicking after seeing the needles, so they gave him a light amount of anesthesia.", she explained. Still, it was a sad sight to see. I didn't like seeing my baby hurt, physically, mentally, or emotionally.

"He will be alright though, yeah?", Roger asked. "He should be. His nose will heal in a couple weeks or so.", said the young woman. "Anemone! Tell him about what you saw on my face when you first approached me!", I heard John slur. "I thought you were a homeless man for a minute because you were obviously sleeping.", Anemone replied. "He ran away from us after screaming. But why did you scream, darling?", I asked my loopy dear. "Emotional.", he simply replied. This much could be true.

"Well it's true, he did seem overwhelmed. He felt as if he didn't deserve as much praise as I gave him.", I uttered. John drowsily turned to the other side away from me and just slurred, "not alright."

Not alright. Even though he's under the influence of anesthesia, those words broke my heart. "Don't worry, John. Dr. Halloway said you'll be fully healed in two weeks, just make sure you take your antibiotics.", Anemone advised, with that, the doctor arrived in the room.

"I see you have some visitors. Nice to meet you everyone, I'm Dr. Halloway. I've just came by to check on Mr. Deacon.", the doctor walked over to the bed. "How are you feeling right now?"

"Tired...pretty....much....hurt...I can still breathe though....", John slurred. "Very well then. I'm gonna just check your vitals and you'll be on your way.", the doctor said. Anemone, Bri and Roger headed for the exit, as soon as I headed that way, I heard John whining a little. "Don't leave me!", he faintly cried. "No need to worry, dear! I’ll be just outside with everyone else. Dr. Halloway is simply checking your vitals, and you’ll be on your way home in no time.", I reassured. "Promise?", he whines. "I promise...." I went on my out and sat in the waiting room with the other three.

I honestly wish that didn't happen to him, I wish I could take it back to that moment before injury.
